We are getting a ton of love from the media recently, mainly coming in this past week. Hopefully we can keep this momentum rolling with a victory over Detroit this Sunday and get more praise from the media and not fall off like we have done recently when getting praise from the media. I haven't seen this posted anywhere but I think it's a pretty good article about Tannehill.

I have loved the way Tannehill has played as of late and I'm hoping he can keep it up. I started to worry after that KC game but man this kid has been on fire and I expect him to shock the Lions defense this Sunday and have another good game.

Tannehill has positioned himself smack dab in the middle of franchise player or bust. The remainder of the season will tell the tale.

I couldn't give two squirts of piss about the opinions of the media.

I just want to win.

I agree, but it must be gospel if the media starts recognizing.

I haven't been this positive or excited about the offense in a long time. IMO, Lazor is a genius.

I'm never going to understand why this is so important to so many people here.

It's just nice to be recognized for things you do well. It's not important really, just cool to see.

Im scared that Tannehill will be average or slightly above average. The reason is that a starting franchise quarterback will make between 16-20 million a year. Do you want to pay that much for a Alex Smith or Jay Cutler? Tannehill needs to be a top 10 quarterback or we need to move on and draft another rookie and use our cap elsewhere. I do believe Ryan is our guy; we just need the week to week improvement that he has shown us. Also when he gets in a funk it lingers for most of the game.

I could care less to be honest. But when we are used to only seeing negative things when we are in the media, this past week has been refreshing. Nice to see articles that aren't negative or written by Armando or Omar.

What people seem to forget is that Tannehill came into the NFL with a lot less games as a college QB because of his stint as a WR. He had the intelligence, athleticism and high character but he didn't have as much hands on QB experience and it was all with Mike Sherman, who seemed incredible protective of his boy using his legs. NFL analysts seem quick to to offer the excuse how Eli Manning has had the difficulty of learning a new Offensive system at the Giants under McAdoo, but there has been scant acknowledgement in the media that Tannehill has had the same challenge.
Early days, but Ryan is getting better and better. When Lazor accepted the role (and he was wanted by Detroit where he would have walked in with Matthew Stafford, Calvin Johnson, Reggie Bush, more settled O-line), but he selected the Dolphins partly because he saw the upside potential in Tannehill.
Mike Sherman helped to make Ryan Tannehill but Lazor can make him a much better QB. There is still a lot more to learn and Ryan is a seriously good learner. How many footballers are smart enough to do a pre-med degree and play college football in 2 positions at a high level and fall in love and settle down with the right lady, all at the same time?

I hate when the media gets behind us. Look at last year - they loved us when we were 3-0 and then we went on a massive losing streak. They loved us as a playoff team after Week 15 and then we lose our final two teams and miss the playoffs. I prefer it when we get no love and go in to the game as "underdogs".
