Plus Ireland and Sparano are to be commended for not reaching for a QB is this year's class, knowing that the real talent is in next year's class. They could've mortgaged the team's future in order to promote their own job security, but instead they did what was in the best long term interest of the organization.

Or maybe Sparano had such a hard on for Pouncey that he couldn't help himself regardless of our need for a QB.

TS is a very good coach, but you live and die with your QB and if Henne doesn't get it done I think he is gone. My first choice is Fisher. I would love to get him in here. I would also like to see Nolan get another shot mostly because I want the continuity for our Defense. Losing Nolan would really be a step back for our D. If we do get a new HC I hope Nolan stays!!!!!!

HELL NO to Cowher. Most overrated guy EVER! I pray we dont get him. Dick LeBeau was the HUGE reason for the Steelers success all of those years. Cowher is nothing special.

FACT: NO Superbowl winning HC has ever won a SB with another team.

I also think even if Sparano is fired, Ireland will stay, which I am down with.

OK, if Lockar and Ponder are such amazing prospects, then why did those teams go out and sign Hasselbeck and McNabb? Plus, I don't believe Sparano has final say over personnel decisions.

I disagree with the idea of Tony being a good coach. The passion is there, but the gameday acumen isn't. Anyways, I like Jeff Fisher I think he would make a great hire for any team that will be in the market for an HC. The only thing about bringing on Fisher that would give cause for concern is going away from this unbelievable 3-4 defense we've built back to a 4-3. Which is almost why I would just promote Nolan for the sake of continuity, this defense has the makings of something special I would hate too see it get blown up by switching schemes.
