Hey does anyone know of some runningbacks that were really good in the NFl but had really slow 40 times i think that Walter Payton had a slow time does anyone know of some others

Barry Sanders had a 4.6 a believe.

Ah what that man could do other than that. He didnt need break away speed but he had it!

40 times are really irrelivant

Chad Johnson ran a 4.5 and he is a top WR

To much pressure on the guys to base it all on one run

As its been said 'How many times a game do you see a guy line up in a track stance and run 40 yards down the field uncontacted without looking back? Never'

This should make your day.

Terrel Davis ran a 4.8

as did Jerry Rice, but he's not a running back.

Martin ran really slow. But that did translate to the actual game. In game he never had break away speed he would always get 4-8 yards.

Fred Taylor ran a 4.6
John Avery ran a 4.41
Pittman 4.51
Ahman Green 4.44
Ricky Williams 4.55
Edgrerrin James 4.38
Cecil Collins 4.48
Thomas Jones 4.5
Jamal Lewis 4.45
Shaun Alexander 4.63
Ladanian Tomlinson 4.4
Deuce McAllister 4.48
Kevan Barlow 4.6
Lamont Jordon 4.5
Travis Henry 4.6
Rudi Johnson 4.65

I got to go now. Need more ask.

yeah barry ran a very fast time. i remember reading it a couple years ago. 4.37 is much more accurate. smad's usually right with these things, anyway.

Fred Taylor ran a 4.6

Man where are you guys getting your 40 times? Fred Taylor ran a 4.36.

Martin ran really slow. But that did translate to the actual game. In game he never had break away speed he would always get 4-8 yards.

It wasn't that slow. He ran a sub 4.55.

Does anyone know a good site (or any sites for that matter) on 40 times other than last year's draft class (which is all I can seem to find)?
