when you throw more INT's than touchdowns...it means nothing when a lot of them were given to us because we were behind.

the int's were not all his fault, but many of the yards were meaniingless and his accuracy was BELOW AVERAGE

You're right, 400 yards means nothing. But, 2 of the INTs should have/ could have been caught.

But please nevermind the QB situation. This team has sooooooo many problems, that it doesn't really matter at this point.

If the receivers and TE could catch then Joey has a 2/1 TD/INT ratio. They get paid a lot of money, if it's catchable they should catch it bottom line. No QB in the league throws perfect passes every time.

No offense but you need to schedule an appointment to Four Eyes.

Four of the 7 interceptions were not Joey Harrington's fault. Those were balls that were batted up in the air giving a chance for a DB to intercept. He's throwing the ball too hard? Give me a ****ing break. Dan Marino threw the ball damn hard. These receivers are crap.

What do you expect from a receiving core that is currently Top 3 in dropped passes? We are looking at a Top 3 pick. Calvin Johnson sounds really good at the moment. But if he doesn't land, then Dwayne Jarrett sounds really good as well.

Poor throws have caused some of those batted balls.

Funny how when Joey was in Detroit, those receivers led the league in dropped passes.

Is it a coincidence or is it something about the placement and delivery of the passes that makes them tough to catch?

The Joey Harrington Apologist always blames the WR. It's never Joey's fault, for some reason...

Yea I mean if Joey supporters are happy with his performance because he threw 400 yards, then that is just being silly. Fact is, Joey had 3 INT's, and tho one was definetly not his fault . . . one was totally a boneheaded INT and the other was a very bad pass that McMike tried to make a play on. He wasn't that accurate today, he had wide open people and either over threw them or underthrew them. He took some sacks today when he had time . . . he could have scrambled a few times and didn't . . . The offense ONLY scored 24 points, and the D set them up for 7 of those points. This is against the worst secondary in the league.

The only positives I've seen from Joey is his quick release, quick decision ability and his tuffness. But he really has made some real STUPID plays since he has taken over at QB, and has missed some wide open people . . . tho he hasn't been helped, well has been hurt by his supporting cast that has added to the misery.

He hasn't been nearly as bad as the stats indicate, but he hasn't been much of an upgrade, outside of the quickness, over an injured CPep. He struggles to direct the offense until late in the game when the defense is giving him the underneath stuff . . . he hasn't impressed me at all. U gotta stick with him for now tho.

And that occurs in every game. If you consider yourself an NFL caliber receiver you have to make tough catches. Only one of those "batted balls" was a poor throw.
I guess JH should hit them right in the bread basket every time. God forbid if a WR actually has to stretch for a pass.

You too need to get your eyes checked.

First batted ball INT against New England:
Pass on his left shoulder, Welker batted it up which lead to an INT.

Second batted ball INT against New York:
Pass between the numbers to Chambers, lets it bounce off his chest which lead to an INT.

Third batted ball INT against Green Bay:
Between the numbers to McMichael, bounces off his chest which lead to an INT.

Fourth batted ball INT against Green Bay:
Pass that hits McMichael forearm, bounces off his forearm and lead to an INT.

All of these are catchable balls. Our problem is we don't have playmakers on our receiving core. None of these were Joey's fault.

If you're arguing with me, you should read my post again. I was somewhat defending Harrington. BUT the problems with this team lie alot deeper than just the QBs.

He's still has this offense showing a little cohesiveness when compared to DC. I'm in favor of drafting a young QB and keeping JH as a backup next season and releasing/trading DC (if he has any value).
I don't think DC's ego could handle it, if the Phins drafted Quinn or Brohm.

EXACTLY. These receivers are pathetic.
