45 years ago TODAY all of S Fla. was pulling for the Dolphins against the Chiefs in the Longest Game.

17 people in my front room in Hialeah all jumped off couches and chairs at the same time when Garo won it.

I love the sentiment even if I wasn't alive for that game. I wish I had a chiefs jersey to wear tonight. Screw all that "lets just beat the pats to get in" crap. I want that deal sealed tonight!

Isn't that funny. Feels a little familiar. This team is still a bit a way IMO, but they are finding ways to win which is making this an exciting season.

I was 5 and remember my dad and uncles watching the game. I definitely remember the SB VI loss to Dallas a couple weeks later a lot more clearly.

I remember that game. KC had a tough front and LB group.

Curly Culp NCAA wrestler and Lanier at LB among others. That team just gritted it's teeth for that win. They were used to dominating the LOS and it was a lot more back and forth that day. I was a lot younger obviously and that game gave me the same emotions as yesterday's game.

That game made me a Dolphins fan.

This one did it for me as a kid also, I also learned the valuable lesson of watching the game on tv but listening to WIOD for the commentary. Rick Weaver and Henry Barrow!
