I just Nubular's highlights (he is the man) and I noticed something on the 4th and goal TD to Chambers at the end. Linehan came under fire for his fade calls in previous weeks, but it seemed as thought he learned from that. Many teams saw his selection and how he through the fades and more than likely, prepared themselves. However, on that 4th down, I don't know if Rosenfels short armed it or what, but Chambers made an outside move stopped and position himself in front of Greer. By doing this, instead of a jump ball like previous weeks, he sort of boxed out Greer and let Greer's preparation work against him.

Anyway, just a general observation.

Anyone want to chime in!?

Great observation, I noticed the same. Im just wondering why Clements wasn't on Chambers. Not sure where he was, maybe middle of field, gonna look for him on Nublar's highlights, playing the slant. OR, the hurry up disarrayed the defence, and they couldn't get the matchups they wanted.

Regardless, my afternoon of endless cursing ended with a huge *** smile.

Remember, the play previous Sage was scrambling towards the goal. It probably meant a lot of Bills defenders collapsing to the ball carrier, which in turn, left them out of position on the fourth down play. We didn't stop the clock or anything, we just got up to the line and snapped it.

I was wondering the same thing about Clements. That is the only solution I can come up with.

What a play. Sage put the game (and the ball) on the hands of our playmaker. Him and Chambers seem to be forming some chemistry.

Sage said he just decided to make that call at the line, since that was probably going to be the call anyway. I like that. I think it showed good leadership.

yeah i think they just didn't have time to get their matchups right... its a good thing no one had timeouts because then their defense would have been fully set and thinks could have ended up differently...

From the Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel:

There's former Dolphins-destroying cornerback Nate Clements, taking questions about how Chris Chambers, whom he has faced regularly from preps to college to pros, could have grabbed many of his 238 yards against him. There he is, asked for a sixth or seventh time about Chambers' 4-yard winning touchdown against someone else (Jabari Greer). There he is again, explaining that Chambers had motioned to the opposite side on the previous play, and the Dolphins' no-huddle allowed no time to switch.

They formed chemistry in 15 minutes? They made plays, lets not take it too far.

If Gus remembers where he is, he will start next week against the chargers.

Sage definately showed he will be a very good backup qb, hopefully here in South Florida for many more years. He is a situational qb, not a starter. But I am glad he was wearing the orange and teal yesterday.:D
