that is 2008 fins vs jets to go to playoffs, yes its a great watch but goto last 30 seconds of video 4th and inches and pennington sneak for a 1st ... this should nevet be a question with tanny EVER ,, U run to line and snap and fall forward

If you think your O can get it done(Gase), I won't question it. Lets not forget Landry pretty much made that play for Chancellor...

the 4th down play that should bother you was on the last drive when the seahawks ran for 7 yards.

Brady and the patriots do it all the time and it works all the time. Teams know it too and still cant stop it. Don't understand why we didn't do that. You would think we could learn from that since the pats have done it to us many times. Instead we took forever to snap the ball and then audibled to a dumb play or faked an audible.

That play bothers the hell out of me...not only should it have beren an easy sneak but we were lined up and Seattle was walking around...Id love to see a replay of it...It was screaming to be quick snapped before they were set. Hed have got three or four yards! Disappointed in Gase AND Tanny on that play.

I agree, but I want to make a distinction. There is a significant difference between a failure unique to Tannehill and a mistake common to most QBs. I've already posted, QB sneaks are rare or nonexistent on almost all teams. Why, I don't know. Which means almost no HCs have it in their playbook. Again, I don't know why. Gase need to change that. He needs to teach quick snap on EVERY opportunity. If there's a legitimate reason NOT to, I'd love to hear it.

I think we were all screaming for it.

I really wanted to see Gase address this in the presser... I just hope we see it eventually and they learn how easy it would be

Lazor was supposed to be a QB sneak guru, did we ever even run a QB sneak under Lazor? It seems like such a valuable weapon thats been missing since Tannehill's been here.

Where do you ever come up with this stuff? A QB sneak guru? Really, RM? Really?!

I believe everyone could see there was an opening for a QB sneak when Seattle wasn't even ready for the play and the longer we waited the closer their LBs got to the line. By the time we snapped the ball they had 9 guys in there. If we're gonna wait for them to get that close then a naked bootleg would have most likely gone for a TD. Either way that was not Seattle playing great defense but rather us stopping ourselfs

Ozzy rules!!

Actually, when we hired Lazor one of the things that gave us hope for that hire was that he had a reputation as someone who was good at teaching the fundamentals. When he was at UVa, his quarterbacks had commented on how executing a sneak properly was one of the areas where he drilled them until they had it perfect.

So yes, it was weird that we didn't use it in 2014 or 2015.

Didnt need a quick snap. There was a clear lane that Tannehill could have gotten the first down.

What i don't understand is how teams like NE find very obvious ways to convert stuff like that. For example spread them out with like 4-5 wide and the RB so they CAN'T stack the middle. Essentially it's your C vs. their DT/NT and the Qb. Easily picks up an inch.

Simple stuff really...Negate their strenght!
