we are 0-1 just like last year. Our defense did a good job today and I guarantee you 4 turnovers will not be an every week occurance. We will be OK.

i mean 3 intricate parts of our offense had BAD games...i was in the Dome man...it was tough to be laughed at in the 4th quarter when we are down 16 and still throwing the ball 3 yards...

its clear that when we are not UP or with in 7 points its going to tough to come back with Penny's style of play and that in no way means bring in Henne but it needs to be addressed

and BTW henne WAS warming up on the sideline yesterday for about 5 minutes and he didnt get put in i wonder why

Noooooooo we will NOT be ok! Start Henne! Start Henne!!

Not to mention down 16-0 with 12 mins to go and no no huddle? I thought we went to it too late. You have to at least try to win even if things get worse.

Being the emergency QB, could Henne of played in the 4th?
That would just mean Pennington couldn't come back in, right?

The defense did well up front but I'm pretty worried that they were cutting through that secondary like a hot knife through butter.

I guess they didn't do a bad job in terms of YAC, apart from Bell's whiffed tackled on Tony G for the TD but it just looked easy to get the ball downfield. And this is Atlanta we're talking about here, no mugs but by no means New England. Imagine what Brady and Brees will do if we don't start breaking up some passes.

That said, the Pennington - Brown - Pennington - Haynos was pretty sweet. And Ricky looked like he could really get going given a bit more time in posession and a few more third down conversions.

I think the panic is centered around the four turnovers. We haven't seen that for some time and it was pretty scary.

You know I always look forward to these type of threads....

reading your post reminds me of Sparano's words last year "I promise you guys, it's not going to be this bad all the time" - Tony S after getting blown out by Arizona in week 2.
