What significance does this game hold? Not for us right now so much, but in general? Should the NFL shorten the preseason to 3 games? Are there that many roster spots decided on in just one game? Does the injury risk outweigh the reward? Starters may not play but quality depth could get injured.

I like the 4th game. You can see who's hungry. The guys who know what to do and how to ball out. They will be in making the roster mode.

It's about the level of a scrimmage except none of our starters will play. This is strictly a bottom of the roster kind of game. It's very important to the players on the bubble so some guys will be out there balling. This is another chance to see our back up QB's in action. I'm not sure that's a good thing! The only guy I like at all is Bryce Petty.

I don't think it comes down to just one game. They evaluate the players during TC and all 4 pre season games. I imagine one or two roster spots will go one way or another after tomorrow night but it's not because of just one game. Like someone else said above, it matters to those guys trying to make it.

Only for bottom of the roster guys. Everything else is already done.

I’d say less than 5 spots. They know who they want to carry already

This game is for the players between #45 and 60 on the roster.

Last chance for the bubble guys to show something.

I think this week is like a 32 team horse auction where each club (as a courtesy and in cooperation with each other) trot out their talent so clubs can all get final looks at EACH OTHER'S talent.

To help them decide who they might want to pick up in exchange for what they're holding.

Yeah, some of it is to help a team decide on its own players, but most teams know where they stand on that. They want to see what OTHERS have that they might be interested in.

Thats why this week is so huge to 45-60- theyre auditioning for 31 other teams.

I mean TJ got his contract extension for his performance is week four of preseason last year, if I recall correctly. Seemed pretty important since half the board rejoiced for name recognition and the other half had a temper tantrum.

A couple of guys might win a roster spot, but otherwise I don't think this game matters much. The NFL changed the cut down dates so that 90 guys can stay on the roster through this game specifically so that only 3rd and 4th stringers have to go out there and risk injury.

This game means a lot for the bottom part of the roster. Who’s capable of being a backup and who’s ready to add fries to my order.
