Its hard to believe that because of redzone interceptions by Gus, how different our season could be looking right now with a good QB. I'm of course talking about the Buffalo and Atlanta games in which he threw redzone INT's, there may have been more but I don't get to watch all the games.

Don't forget the Ronnie fumble against the Jills.

Every bad team can look at a few plays and say we'd be better, look at the Jets. If Chrebet holds on against jax we win that game, if we can score from 1st and G from the 1 we probably beat Bal, if McCareins holds on Sunday we beat SD. W/ a play or 2 in a few different games we could easily have 4-5 wins and be in the thick of it but good teams make plays and bad teams lament the close plays.

The reason we're 3-5 and not 5-3 is because we are not a playoff team at this point. It's not Gus' fault, it's not Saban's fault, it's the team as a whole that is coming up short. We have to trudge through the remainder of the season, evaluating the players and seeing who will be here next year and who will be gone. I know a lot of fans (me included) got suprised and hopeful a couple of times this years when the team overachieved. But really, what did any of us expect? Even if the Pats continue to decline and we take the division does anyone honestly think we will win any road games in the playoffs?
