This article came out- http://dailydolphin.blog.palmbeachp...s-under-intense-scrutiny-vs-tennessee-titans/.

It spoke to 5 Dolphins under scrutiny before this weeks game as:
Maualuga
Tank
Steen
Branch
and Gase

I agree with the Gase choice, but I'm not feeling so strongly on the others. I'd say Christensen is on that list for the obvious offensive woes, The o-line coach, Julius Thomas, who seems to be there for the free shoes, and Cutler. I know the o-line and Cutler act as one, but then they should act as one. If they both got it together, we could see those 30+ point games.

What's the 5 most under scrutiny to you?

Good morning brother. How can you say Christensen when Coach Gase is calling the plays?

Good morning. An article stated yesterday that it's up to Christensen to come up with, and develop plays for Adam to call. So Christensen needs to give something to Adam these days that the offense can do in their sleep to get yardage. It is a together thing though.

I'm not sure this Burke system, the wide 9 from Vance is working. Where are the picks?
Can we bring Jim Bates back?

Branch with one sack in 3 games.....well, that's about what you'd expect from an average DE that's just overpaid
Steen? How about the whole O-line? It's not just one guy, they have all taken turns on playing real bad
Tank played well for his first game
Thomas needs a big game or they should just give Gray a chance
Gase? fix the o-line and most of the problems are fixed
Maualuga? Here we go again counting on a guy that hasn't played in a long time. Only us man

Ozzy rules!!

Do you really think the only job of the OC is to call plays? Being able to run any play in the playbook would be the job of the oc.

I think Coach Gase needs to give Coach Christensen the reigns on offense and manage this team as a whole. If this offense continues to sputter someone will be looking for work very soon. If I was Christensen I would be fighting to make the play calls to get this turned around as his job could be at stake.

I am not sure on your point of your post. My comment is Coach Gase is running the offense. I understand the OC has more than calling plays, however this is the glaring weakness right now. What be so hard to put Fasano in at TE and instead of having him stay in and block to go out and catch a pass?

1. Gase, needs to be aggressive and make his own plays only if Christensen's aren't working, this offense is his responsibility and the reason he came here.
2. Burke, defense is playing good because there is a lot of talent on it for the most part, Burke calls a soft defense just like Vance and we'll never have a real defense until we get an aggressive one, they should rename this defense the play not to lose defense, that's all I've ever seen from it from Vance and him, 0 aggression from Vance, only some mild aggression from Burke.
3. The starting guards need to be replaced with Asiata and Davis, they suck and Asiata and Davis have a lot of potential.
4. Thomas needs to be replaced with Gray, the td pass was Cutler's fault and Gase's for calling so scared but Thomas seems uninterested, let the guy play who wants to and has shown flashes.
5. Mccain, replace him now, he's always sucked, have no idea how he continues to keep a roster spot, he's been Thomas and Turner level for a long time, or very slightly above it, terrible, replace him with Verner and you'll see a huge improvement there.

Change these 5 things and we start crushing people, but any of these things getting changed with how Gase has run things so far is not very likely. He seems to not grasp us getting kicked around is not a serious thing to us, the players, or for his job.

Gase did a great job last year. At 1-2 it's a bit much IMO to say he's on the hot seat. Having said that, he was the driving force behind going out and getting Cuttysuck. That's hurting him more than anything IMO.

No Gase calls the plays, it's Christensen that has the full book to give to Adam.

The warning signs were there last year: slow starts, playing down to our opponents, questionable play calling, situational awareness issues. All of what we are seeing now was plaguing us last year. The difference was the schedule, Tannehill, and practically getting every bounce gave us wins and masked some pretty serious flaws. Now Tannehill is gone, the bounces have equalized, and the schedule is typical for a supposed "good" team. All of these flaws that some of us noticed last year are now becoming apparent to everybody. Go back and watch those "wins" last year if you don't believe me. Gase hasn't taken a step back, he's the same guy who is doing the same things. Wouldn't a true offensive guru adapt and change to his players?? Shula did.

Ya even if it is a lost season I wouldn't get rid of Coach Gase. I hate to admit it and never wanted to but Gase put way too much stock into Cutler. I really thought he could at least get us by with the offense we have surrounding him. Apparently not lol It was a lost season when #17 went down. I will ride or die with the Fins but to see an offense play that bad two games in a row is more than shocking. I couldn't talk for 3 days after the great Ed Hochuli and his big muscles ruined what would have been a pretty good game. I still find it crazy to think Cutler had a 101 rating Vs the chargers and now looks like he is reverting to the Cutler we all come to hate lol back foot lazy throws. Idk what the hell that "fade" was lol fatboy Thomas wouldn't have gotten it even if it were a 50/50 ball. He's just another example of the greatness of Peyton Manning
