5 Players the Miami Dolphins Should Sign in 2015

Iupati doesn't fit Benton's O-line system. He's a good guard and he hits free agency but Miami won't be his destination.

Yeahm I don't get that at all, Miami;s biggest problem is pass protection which is Iupati's biggest weakness. I cannot make the connection at all.

We run a zone blocking scheme and need athletic lineman with quick agile feet and can pull. Honestly Iupati would be an upgrade even though he's not a great scheme fit…but Orlando Franklin is a much much better fit.

Also not sure if this article is meaning we should sign all 5 of these guys? Because that aint gonna happen with our cap.

1, 2 and 3 and call it a day. Franklin and Knighton would be my first two targets without a doubt. Iupati doesn't fit here.

I could see the possibility of CB Jackson and G Franklin. There's no way IMO that Denver let's both Fanklin and Knighton get away to us even with having to re-sign players like D. Thomas, J. Thomas and Knighton amongst others as they are in good cap shape. Iupati is not a fit and I'm not too wild about re-signing Odrick if his demands are too high.

People would be bowing down to hickey after that offseason even without iupati. Kareem Jackson is intresting for sure.

these FA wish lists are so unrealistic

we should sign the best FA's at positions of need?!! well

Franklin would be a good signing can play both guard ant tackle , I like Odrick as a leader but idk if 25 tackles and 1 sack is enough production to get resigned..

I believe we can get 3 guys. Not sure we can get 5. As far as our own free agents Odrick would not be my top priority and would only bring him back at the right price. Clay would be the 1st one and even he would depend on the price.

Agreed. If I had to pick two from that list, it would be those two. Franklin not only fills a need at guard but can also serve as a damn good backup at tackle. So he starts and provides much needed depth. Knighton can clog the middle. Perhaps we could avoid making backup running backs look like Barry Sanders. Eh...that might just be a crazy dream I have.

I'd also think Jackson would be a nice pickup. We certainly need a corner and we can't really count on Grimes and Finnegan staying healthy all season.

Too many damn needs.

Why go after a Tackle when we have Albert and James.

He's started at both guard and tackle. For us, he'd be a guard. However, if one of our tackles went down, he be a far superior backup to anyone we have. That kind of versatility makes him valuable, especially to us right now.

We will only have so much spending ability. I doubt we could get both Franklin and Knighton. Looking at where the strength of the draft is, I could see us going for Orlando Franklin and a corner as our big spends. Corner is not great in the top 50 of the draft, and i can't see finding a starter. Flowers or Jackson sound good to me. There are good defensive tackles in the draft.

I wouldn't mind getting a good veteran read and diagnose inside backer in free agency, someone not too expensive, even if he's a two down player. I'm sick of seeing Trusnik founder out there.

We will need a veteran safety too. Can't see finding a starter there either in the draft. I like Michael Thomas but I'm not sure you hand him the starting job. I think he's good as an extra db in nickle and dime.

People have mentioned Antrelle Rolle. What pisses me off is he would have been a good get when he first went into free agency several years ago, going from the Cards to the Giants. That was the type of ascending player that made sense and was a good use of the money. Now he's 32 and not coming off the best season. This article summarizes his recent play and that his next contract shouldn't be too high.
