1-Dallas Thomas
The time to part ways with Thomas has passed but the Dolphins for whatever reason will hold on to him. Thomas is a very good practice player and it's because of that he sticks around. Unfortunately he is a liability in both run and pass blocking yet he still manages to keep his roster spot despite his poor play.
2-Dion Sims
The Dolphins drafted Sims in the 4th round of the 2013 draft and thus far he has been nothing more than a back-up and frankly, not a very good one. Luckily for Sims is that he can block but he has not made an impact in two tight-end sets and has been inconsistent.
3-Billy Turner
How bad has Turner been since arriving in Miami? I had four images to choose from the USA Today image library. Turner has been a "turnstile" but what's really sad is that he still manages to slightly outplay Dallas Thomas from time to time.
Turner, like Thomas has struggled at the NFL level and is too inconsistent in both pass protection blocking and run blocking.
4-Earl Mitchell
Mitchell was supposed to be a perfect free agent replacement for Randy Starks but thus far, Mitchell has either been banged up or whiffing on tackles. So far this pre-season he hasn't been too bad but Miami should expect more from a player who is lining up next to Ndamukong Suh.
5-Jordan Cameron
It's looking like the Dolphins should as well. The Dolphins say Cameron's drops are not a concern but they should be because they could potentially cost the team points. Cameron is counting $8 million against the salary cap this year.
