Igbo’s situation portends what will happen with 25. I think they work something out where some cash is accelerated and both sides can save face.

Canter is incompetent if he doesn’t understand that both sides need to save face. Miami cannot set a precedent where any player goes rogue while under contract. They have to finesse that concept and Canter will have to assist with that.

Canter is X's new agent. All of this reared it's ugly head because this greedy bloodsucker wants to hit the cash register. I'm sure it's killing him that he hasn't turned X into dollar signs yet. He will but he has to stop pretending he's holding all the cards. They actually have zero leverage except for the empty threat of X sitting out the year and walking away from millions of dollars. That's not happening. It's extremely rare that a star player sits out for a year over a contract dispute. It costs him a fortune and it's potentially a very bad career move. So. what's left to do is bring all parties to the table and open the meeting by saying we have to both be flexible. We have to walk out of here with a deal that gives X the respect the Dolphin's organization has for him while X lowers his demands for the sake of closing the deal. Both sides will walk away doing something they don't want to do but for the overall sake of putting the nightmare to bed before we play any real games I predict it gets done. I sure hope so. Maybe X will get tired of Canter and get a more reasonable agent. For now, we need to bring back the defensive back field from last season in tact, that includes X!!

Ugh, igbo is garbage. (As a player) I'm so pissed we drafted him. I was pissed at the time and I'm pissed now. What a waste. We need to cut hom asap and move on

You need to find a way to get this to Flo and staff. Apparently they don't se what you do.

Brother, just let me vent... its ok. You can still go about your day. It's just such a wasted pick imo. We had two first rounders that year and wasted that pick...

Let's give Iggy a chance to play some ball before we judge him a failure/ bust. We've already invested the #1 so let's see what this kid can do. He got roughed up last season and I hope we didn't mess with his confidence. If any player needs a full NFL camp complete with pre season games it's Iggy. Coach him up, give him a ton of pre season snaps and hope X is still on the team!

Right now, based on what I have heard and read, I see Iggy as more of an athlete than CB. He probably doesn't have enough experience with football to develop the instincts needed to play at a high level right now. To be effective, he will probably have to rely on the technical side of things like film study, route running cues, and other tells opposing WRs unwilling give. I don't fault Grier for taking a chance on him. He's probably just going to need a little more time to develop and tie it all in together than we hoped. Wasn't he the one Flores was chewing on a little bit the other day? I hope Iggy is up to some hard coaching. That could be a good thing though because if Flores didn't think he was worth it, he wouldn't be wasting his time.

I didn't like the Iggy pick; though he showed talent; and it's very disappointing that he's not developing after all the work he put in this off-season from all reports.

But these reports are disturbing. Yet, he could still develop. He won't be cut any time soon. But he needs to improve.

folks wouldn't be so impatient with Iggy if X 's situation wasn't a thing .... Cb position in the NFL isn't easy to grasp ... Iggy has hope but needs time ... not ready to start but plenty of potential IMO .. in the mean time while X is waiting for an answer he's getting valuable reps that otherwise would go to X ...

Flo must see potential ... doesn't seem like the type of coach to waste time

My expectations for Iggy this year were not high b/c I think he needs experience above anything else and you can't fabricate that in an off-season. That being said I believe he has the talent to potentially be a great player. He wouldn't have been my pick (I had CEH or Antoine Winfield penciled in there), but I can understand what the team saw.
