5 Round Draft Simulator Results

Just finished this and felt pretty good about it.

1st - Todd Gurley RB
2nd - Cameron Erving C
3rd - No Pick
4th - Blake Bell TE
5th - Ladarius Gunter CB
5th - Tony Lippett WR

Obviously ILB and S are not addressed here. My ideal scenario would be a trade down in the first to possibly pick up a 3rd round pick (which in doing so would still make all these picks reasonable still). In a trade down scenario, I would go ILB in the 2nd and then hope for Tre Jackson (G) in the 3rd.

I love Blake Bells potential while Gunter and Lippett could be valuable contributors in year one.

Let me know your thoughts!

I think I would like it more if I could swap Blake Bell with wr Kenny Bell and then swap Tony Lippett with te Rory Anderson.

I'm not sure Blake Bell can catch the ball at a pro level. He has size and is a decent athlete, but he hasn't caught enough passes to sale me on him be an NFL talent. He's a pure pick on faith.
 
I feel strongly the Gurley stuff floated out there is a smokescreen. I may wind up with pie on my face (usually do), but it seems almost too obvious the team is looking at a WR, CB, G, or LB with that top pick.
 
A center with the 2nd rd pick? Miami needs another WR desperately. They already have a center.

I love this one, Eric Rowe could be a good one.

That hits every need we have on the team. Like it.
 
Erving would move to G.

Lippett is 6'3" so he would have decent size. He is a leap-to-catch type of guy too.

Rowe was the CB i wanted but he was taken 2 picks before my choice when I went with Ladarius Gunter
