This is not my mock but I saw this online. I like the players but not having any o-line with our first 5 picks really bothers me. Anyway, we're 14 days away so very soon these mock will mean nothing and we'll get the real thing. This is just to see how you guys feel about it.

1-Haskins-QB Ohio ST

2-Trayvon Mullen-CB Clemson

3-Oshane Ximines-DE/OLB Old Dominion

4-Greg Gaines-DT Washington

5-Alex Barnes-RB Kansas ST

I like Ximines and note he can play DE or OLB is good for what we want to do.
Gaines would go right into the rotation at DT and can line up at NT
We need a 2nd corner but again, at 48 I'm thinking o-line.
Not sure we even draft a RB this year

Left Haskins for last for a reason. I think we already have talked enough about him so we'll see what happens if he really does falls to us. I'd go o-line with our 2nd and 5th if it came down to this.

Haskins would be good especially if we fell to 13. But if he were the pick I would use the rest of my picks to build around him. At least 2 olineman and 1 more playmaker maybe even bring in the OSU skill guys in the middle rounds. I do like Trayvon Mullen a little more than most, he has the physical traits and showed up for Clemson in the big games

I agree that drafting Haskins and then not drafting O-line would make no sense unless you're really planning on not playing him all year long.

Not a whole lot to like about that draft for me.

Haskins
I have no real opinion, haven’t watched him at all outside of vs Michigan but I was there to watch other players.

Mullen
Doesn’t tackle, I would think there are better options in the 2nd round.

Ximines
Intriguing player, I don’t think he can play OLB and we already have two third down guys.

Gaines
We have 7 DT’s on the roster now, be shocked if we add another.

Barnes
With so many gaping holes elsewhere I can’t see taking a RB who will never see the field.

Like others have noted if Haskins is the pick then you better put an oline together because what we have isn’t pretty.

With that's in the league now and Tua in 2020 and Lawrence in 2021 how many super bowl appearances do you think will make if Haskins is our QB the next 10-15 years

Haskins is 2019 version of Tannehill

Get a QB who has a chance to be top 5 in the league, if you can't get your hands on one build until you can

I would love Haskins at #13. I think that would change Miami's philosophy in this draft, though. I would expect Grier to then go heavy offense, mostly offensive lineman the rest of the way.

As much as the team would like to be patient with Haskins and start Fitzpatrick, you know at some point the young quarterback will be in there. Probably by mid-season. You don't want him playing behind the current offensive line.
