Looks like the bottom 3 guys are Chekwa, JMJ & Hull and could be replaced via roster cuts.
 
I got a feeling Daniel Thomas will make this team and Ajayi will need a job next year

I just don't think JMJ makes it out of that whole list you have.

I hope they don't just release Chekwa (a boundary option) unless they are sure they have an upgrade...
 
I love Gary, hope he sticks, the man is a physical force.

Hate to say it but he plays like a Raven or Patriot DB.

We need his type of aggressiveness on this team.
 
Depending on Pouncey's status you might need to keep Douglas through week one so you have a backup center against the Seahawks.
 
I would say Daniel Thomas was Miami's most consistent running back this preseason, but I still think I would go outside the roster for the fourth back before I kept Thomas.
 
I'm onboard with the cut Mitchell and sign Knighton crowd. A defensive tackle group of Suh, Knighton, Phillips, Warmsley and Jones would work. With Williams, Wake, Jones, Branch and eventually Jordan at end.

This whole Knighton thing - has to be a red flag to me - such a epic crash and burn from where he was a couple years ago, He has to be out of shape unmotivated etc..

Might as well make it 7 and that way you would have an even 60 players on the roster. I would also like the NFL to do away with the inactive list for game days. I just think its stupid. Everyone should be active on game days that are healthy enough to play.
 
Daniel Thomas is a lot of things (for better or worse), but inexperienced isn't one of them so I'm not discounting the likelihood he makes the team.
 
I think Damien Williams makes it ahead of Pead and Daniel Thomas. He's the best RB at protecting the QB and he plays special teams. I would still like to find a spot for Pead, maybe on PUP - he looked really good.
