5th round QB

So.. What exactly makes them good? That they are QBs not named Feeley? You guys are amazing.. I could see us taking a flyer on White or Mcphearson in the 7th, but thats about it.

Timmy Chang is a seventh-rounder. Jason White's agent will field several calls after he isn't drafted.

This is our last pick before round 7 (barring a trade). So that being said, I find it unlikely that we draft a QB with this pick. Saban will use this next year to evaluate what we need out of our QB - and if we need one, we will get one in next year's draft.

Jason White is worse than Josh Heupel. There is a reason there has been ZERO talk about him. Him winning the Heisman was as bad as Eric Crouch.

Zach Mills sucks too.

the "guy from wvu" is named Rasheed Marshall..not just "the guy from wvu"...

Coming from a WV resident...

OMG Since Chang Had A Bunch Of Yards We Should Soooooooo Draft Him And Forget About All The Ints He Threw!

Take McPherson or an O-Lineman...a big fat hog with speed.

Doktor Ivel said:
good ones stiil available
Jason White
Timmy Chang
Adrian McPherson
the one from West Virginia
Zack Mills

All these talks about QB is really getting old.We don't need a QB.Our problem with our QB position has always stemmed from our OL ,who really had no clue of how to work together. We got Houck for precisely that reason so we need to patient and let houck and Linehan do their thing.

Scouting Report: Walter Washington
Vital Statistics
Position: QB School: Temple
Height: 6-2 Weight: 240 lbs.
More of an athlete than a quarterback, Washington does it all for Temple on the football field. He led the team in passing with 2,207 yards and 10 touchdowns, and rushing yards with 889 in 2004. Washington has some amazing playmaking ability, both as a runner and a passer, but he relies on his athletic ability to get by way too much. Washington has good size and is quite a load to bring down; couple his size with good speed and a strong arm and he has all the physical tools desired to be a NFL signal caller. A junior college transfer, Washington has only two years of college experience and is definitely a raw talent, in need of major development before he can make an impact in the NFL. He needs to learn how to stay in the pocket and go through his reads before taking off, as well as refine his throwing technique. He is often too eager to run and would have been better off staying in school for another year. His talent and ability is irrefutable and will definitely get him a look on draft day.
