...see what happens when Penny actually throws deep? And i dont mean 40 yard bombs like evreyoen says to make the so called "anti penny" people look bad. All I said was pass the ball more then 10 yards to ginn and thigns will be good and he did today and look what happened. he made a lot of plays and had lots of YAC. especially on that nice one for 64 yards. that was about 50 yards of YAC. I still dont know how he didnt beat witner though i was surprised.

2) J Allen played a greatttttttt game against Hardy. GREAT position every time. Very good sign for miami I loved it. If he keeps it up it can do wonders for this team. It isnt just his coverage but closing speed. there were 3 catches where JA was on teh guy but his closing speed didnt allow any YAC and all those plays were a 3 yard pass made for the WR to have YAC but allens speed prevented any. Thats what makes him good is his speed and athletic ability tahts why I dont know why he doenst play. Allen MIGHT be a horrible guy in practice but he does well in games. Hes always where the ball is and in position to deflect or INT. Its been this way for years. He reminds me of Drogba in Euro Soccer. Hes always in the right spot for the goal they call him the clean up or garbage scorer due to this but his one of hte best strikers. Allen has this tendency, to be in the right place for those random balls in the air or deflections.

3) Culver played a GREAT game. Especially on that one play against Hardy. I do believe it went through his hands I cant remember but he still deflected it preventing a catch.

5) Where are all the Joey Porter is a bust, worst signing, 20 million guarantee waste of money management people? Like i said, half of the people dont use logic for things. JP last year came from a surgery, missed TC, practices, was used as a DE for crying out loud! and you guys epxected the OLD joey? Lets put Randy Moss as a TE and see if he can produce like he can as a WR. Thats what miami did with JP last year.

6) Roth is not a Starting LBer, puts zero pressure and his short arms hurt him a lot when he tries to reach n make ap lay.

Agreed with everything except the comment on Roth. It's too soon to pass judgment.

Also, please go talk to some of these folks that are still trying to figure out ways to discredit Pennington and call for Henne.

I'll give you props for giving him the credit he deserves for delivering a career day for Ginn.

:hi5: I'm telling you dude, I have nothing against the guy except for the fact that he played scared when it came to throwing a ball past 10 yards. It might be more then that such as he knows soemthign is wrong with his arm but hes hiding it so he cna still play in the NFL or something but today he actually did pass 10 yards and out and we saw the results that i was saying we can have. Our WR get open, penny never threw it but today he did. He is a good QB abd prob woudl have been one of the best to play had he had a stronger arm. he is extremely smart poor guy lacks an arm though.

If penny plays with the Pairs he played with today, this team can go far this year with passes like that. Even on the first pass that was for 46 yards, had it been henne that was a [70 yard TD pass cuz he beat the guy by about 2 yards or so and in stride he was gone. But his arm strenght turned it into a UNDER throw and I haev that Manning personality where I expect to capatilize on every opportunity and that was one but hey it is what it is, we cant change it until henne comes in and the fact that he threw it deep I gave the A for effort either way. THere were 2 passes he made taht were COMPLETEEEEEEE ducks but the reason I didnt get upset is b/c he STILL made the throw and let the WR (ginn) make a play on it. AtLEAST he tried to make the pass whcih is progress and a step forward rather then backwards. BTW what was that pass to fasano that traveled 3 yards before it hit the ground? I think there is soemthign there with his arm/shoulder that he isnt telling people b/c someones arm doesnt just make a weird movement like that and the ball drops 3 yards later. I feel bad for the guy.

He threw the ball to the ground because he wasn't sure if Fasano was going to stop running his route. He didn't want to risk a turnover so he tossed it at the ground. No complaints. 50 yards does seem to be his throwing limit though.

He also has some of the worst (if not the worst) change of direction I've ever seen out of a LB. He's a huge liability in the running game.

But everyone after last year was disappointed with Porter. Before he even played a game many fans and analysts said it was a terrible signing and for at least the 1st half of the season last year he didnt play well. So I do understand why fans got on him and the signing. Like I said, agree with most of what you said but I dont like using hindsight as you did with the porter point.

Hes charasmatic and seems to play his heart out all the time, im not sure but i'd say i think the coaching staff and gaining some confidence in the personel around him has helped. Pennington i just feel comfortable with and im glad he threw some deep today...

I think JP is the way he is now cuz last year he was quiet on the field and didtn have that "im the captain" swagger due to JT and ZT. now its all his and he is sure acting/playing to that level.

I agree that Jason Allen had an excellent game plus after checking the highlights of the game, Jason Allen made TE Royal fumble the ball.

one more thing i noticed. last week i was complaining about the play calling and conservative play in the game. today the same situations came up and I yelled dont run plz not again and we didnt. MEANING it shows this staff knows how to make adjustments and they try to NOT make the same mistakes twice. that was great to see and that was why we won. even though 2 of the passes were for 4 yards, it was more then what we were getting on the ground which we didnt realize vs teh ravens! great adjustment within a week.

BTW taht ginn pass for 64 yards, at the end the ball got punched out and had it been punched in a different directoin that was going to be recovered by NE. i think this is a good experience and somethign to build off for him in his 2nd year. more experience. its good experience i hope.
