60-40 FAVORING dolfans in Jacksonville?

Interesting concept. If enough DolFans show up, there may be an actual "home away from home" advantage. The Jaguars are struggling in the stands, so it'd be nice for those DolFans who can afford the trip or live in the Jacksonville area to show some support. Defeating the Jags knocks them out of the Wild Card and keeps us alive - it's worth the trip.

The last time we played Jax I was there and it was definatley a Dolphin crowd. 60/40 is realistic. The Dolphins are the original Florida team, anyone who's family has been in Florida for multiple generations is generally a Miami fan. We didn't switch just because TB and JAX got franchises. Florida is dominated by Dolphin fans. There are a lot of people in North Central Florida who never make the trip down to Joe robbie but will make the 1 to 1 1/2 hour trip to Jacksonville.

Im telling you guys. I live here and this is a collge football city: Bobby Bowden's last game and the Gators losing has taken all the steam out of this city. Dolphin Fans will be VERY well represented at the game. Its not a hostile environment anyways, but it will be even more harmless now. Miami 27 Jacksonville 13

I have a theory why JAX does not draw fans for their home games. When I was stationed in North Carolina from 87-93 how fortunate I was that the locally broadcast AFC team was the Dolphins. That's a large area of representation and of course, includes Jacksonville. After the Jags were created I had some friends who were life long Dolphins fans that really had a hard time choosing one or the other. Most stayed with the Dolphins, few opted for the home team.

Point is, Jacksonville may be having trouble drawing fans because a lot of Dolfans live in the area. I suspect this game will be a sellout and the majority of the fans will be wearing aqua and orange.

lets half up jacksonville between us and tampa we will take John Henderson, mike sims-walker, and reggie nelson jones drew bucs can have the rest.

Jags are a 2.5 point favorite. The OP was referring to the percentage of fans in the stadium. Dolphin fans may actually outnumber Jaguar fans at the game.

Yeah i caught that after reading i have a bad problem of read the thread AFTER I post.
