7/26 Camp Tweets - Day 2

Joe Philbin said the Dolphins are expanding Mike Wallace's route tree.

And Sherman didnt do this because....

Agreed. A 3 WR set w/ Gibson, Landry, & Wallace could be intriguing.

Guess you didn't get the memo that Gibson was the odd man out. Oh wait it's Rishard.

God forbid we wait and see how training camp and the start of pre-season goes (including possible injury) before the big rush for the reporter's to cut WR's of the roster

Crazy how many bad snaps yesterday vs. none today. Also crazy is yesterday's overreaction to the line when they're still not in pads.

The real test for the oline is tomorrow.

It's good to see Tannehill hit another deep pass today, albeit not with Wallace, but he did have a deep cross with Wallace that was nice. There's more to big plays than deep posts.

OV is beasting right now, kid is developing nicely, DJ is getting alot better too, especially at the run D.

The fact that Philbin has to say there expanding Wallace's route tree is a embarrassment, Sherman was such a dumbass.

I don't really think they need to expand Wallace route tree what they really need to do is give him some slot run and motion him inside at times to get him off bracket coverage and allow for him to invade bailing safeties in the middle of the field...of course being able to eat up safety cushion requires longer time developing plays and tha starts with pass pro holding up

They do need to expand the slot route combos though cause Jarvis Landry is terrific at selling one thing initially and changing direction for rac opps...that kid sets DBS up damn well...put it to use

I seriously question Philbin's judgement with this Shelley Smith at center experiment. I know Pouncey's injury wasn't prepared for, but you don't want to shuffle guys like this. It has disaster written all over it. If Brenner can't handle that job as a backup, when he has far more experience at center, then why is he on the roster?

He did this type of thing throughout camp last year as well. We shuffled players all camp and guys like Samuda that they kept talking up and trying to make work ended up being so bad they were cut.

Let's see if Taylor can continue to force TOs and Davis can play well in coverage. I can see having a guy like Grimes ready for a desparation hail-mary PR play. Hope the STs improve this year.

Gibson is a no-brainer, because he's shined from day one and had good chemistry with Tannehill from the beginning, it's just a matter of plugging him back in. This is still a Hartline/Wallace/Gibson team....but sounds like Landry, who I think will be a star, is making waves. It's a matter of using the talent we have, use what we got. We didn't do a good enough job doing that.

Lazor is making an impact, in that regard. That man is going to literally save this team.

(btw, if anyone doesn't know, to get through these tweets, you can CTRL-F on the keyboard for a find feature so you can look at one player name on whatever snap/drill he's mentioned.)
