I had the Phins winning 5-6 games this year just so that I wouldn't have high hopes... I think Spaghetti arm brings experience to the field and I wouldn't doubt we win 7-8 games...

chime in, post and lets look back and see how far off we were...

Peace... Happy season Dol-Phans!!!!

i think we were a 4-12 to a 5-11 team without Pennington...but with him...I say 7 or 8...just like you...and if Ronnie plays outstanding...along with the WHOLE defence...dont count out the Phins for a wild card...anything can happen on any given sunday....

EDIT:I'm not a biter...just a quoter...lol:wink:

before today I had us winning 4 or 5 games. I would be happy with that. now with pennington, I really don't know what to think cause I really hated the guy before cause he would always beat us. im going with ..... 6 games this season and ill be happy
GO DOLPHINS!!!!!!!!

8 wins???? ... wow... well, that is determined, entirely, by the performance of this defense...

not that the offense is anything special yet that could carry this team to .500 alone, but its on the defensive side of the ball where the Dolphins would emminate any semblace of .500-ish-ness...

and frankly, with this limited secondary, and no proven pass rush?... we still have a below average defense at best...

we still have no WR's and our secondary is maybe the worst in the league.

We are a 3 win team at best. Pennington just brings us an air of credibility and keeps us in games we may have got blown out in.

Remember, Chad did start off 1-7 last year with the Jets. So, keep everything in perspective. GREAT MOVE FOR MIAMI TO SIGN him.......but still keep it in perspective

R u serious 3 wins? We should've had at least 4 wins with Cam's Team but now that we have have alot of the right people in place we can go anywhere from 5-11 to 9-7 not below or above(not being biased) but if we put our aqua and orange glasses on anything can happen but man 3 wins is too funny.

i'm saying 6-10, maybe 7-9...

and teams coming off a Dolphins game will be strong "go-against" plays the very next week out....

we'll pound the rock, and put a physical hurting on a lot of NFL defenses... if nothing else...

Chad will help maximize your wins but you have major defensive questions and he has no WRs to throw to. The D's are going to focre those WRs to beat them, 7-8 wins might be a little optimistic.

Anywhere between 4 to 7 wins-- all depending on health. God forbid Jason Ferguson gets hurt of Y Bell again.. Losing Carey or Long etc would make this team a terrible team again.

It's so easy to lose a key player.. I mean, as soon as Ricky came back last yr he got hurt in the game and was out for the season.. The same season that Ronnie Brown busted his knee..

while it's nice to think what the team can do in a perfect world, we all know NFL seasons don't play out that way in reality. This is a thin team with a bunch of new players coming off a 1-15 season.
