I would say replace DvP with RT17. I think Dvp will have a good yea4, but not as good as Landry's, and I highly doubt we land 2,wrs in the pro bowl. Given that both Landry and Dvp are going to have good years, and the o-line should be better, I think RT17 seems like the most likely new comer to the pro bowl on offense.

I would say that DVP has a better chance then QB17, he would have to have a great year, as he's not looked on by very favorably outside Miami, and then there's Big Ben, Brady, Palmer, Flacco, Taylor, Luck and Dalton that all have gone already, and up and comers like Mariota and Carr that have a much better "buzz" than QB17.

The team is going to have to win for him to get in imo, and that's not the case for DVP, good stats and some good highlights could get him in.

I would add Tannehill to that list on offense...possibly Branden Albert if he has a healthy year.

I wouldn't count out a huge bounce back year for Mario Williams....maybe giving him better odds at a Pro Bowl than Wake....who may not be as big a part of the base defense this year.

The 28th ranked qb, Jameis Winston made the pro bowl. Grimes and Pouncey made the pro bowl last season. Anybody on the team could make the pro bowl these days.

As far as the article, if he thinks both wr's could make the pro bowl you damn well should have the qb on the list.

I would love to see Tannehill make it. Like what was said there are lots of good QB's in our conference and if he makes it is probably means he had a great year and lead us to the playoffs.

Meh - It's a popularity contest. :idk:

Now, if we were talking All-Pro ...

You two are right. Last year some alternates to alternates got in :bobdole:

My point about Tannehill still stands because he's not winning any popularity contest Bump. If he gets in he had a monster year and probably the team did as well.

As Fishfan points out, the PB is a popularity contest, and QB17 isn't popular, which is the basis for my post, I think the Dolphins will have to win for him to get there.

The post is pointing out guys who could go, so Landry OR DVP could go, and if both go then QB17 probably had a great year, win win.

The probowl is not what it use to be.So anybody could end up in it nowadays.

Agreed. Take Jones last year. IMO, should have made PB without the 'alternate' label. Problem is he wasn't 'popular.' That's why I agree about Tannehill. He can't have a GOOD year and make PB. He'll have to have an AMAZING year and I doubt that happens. I'd be more inclined to think Williams and/or Albert will make it before Tannehill.

I hope they get rid of the Pro Bowl game. It's an embarrassment. I refuse to have anything to with it after Teddy Bridgewater made it with 14 TD passes.

Lose the game. Select the team and let them compete in non contact drills like lifting and speed competitions AFTER the SB. No more replacement players like Bridgewater and Raper Winston.
