This article popped up in my hometown paper this morning. I live in a small town in southern KY, and stories kept popping up that a '72 phin lived in our town. Being a miami, I got extremely excited and was trying to figure out a way to meet the guy. I awake this morning to find the guy is a phoney. Things like this are simply not cool. What a jerk.

Poor guy was probably sick of waiting until 2 am every night when the pigs turn into foxes. Nice angle.

I came charging into this thread, all full of coffee, ready to tear into yet another person who was contesting the '72 Fins "weren't really that good."

Yeah I wish I played for the Dolphins....but I just leave it at that. I hope there is a psychologist in town with a wide open schedule book for this guy
 
Here is what some dallas cowboy fans were saying about the 72' 73 dolphins .
one caller said and i quote him " the dolphins were a fake team they never dominated anyone they won merely on luck "

another caller said " don shula couldnt coach his way out of a box of cracker jax "

another caller said "the dolphins were never a dynasty and never will come close to the the patriots or steelers or the mighty cowboys"

this is what i have to put up with does anybody have any good comebacks that i can throw bak at these buttwipes ? If I could i would have used some foul languge and ripped those jokers. its amazing though that cowboy fans hate us more then any other teams fans excluding the jets.

Do you work for a radio station? Anyhow obviously they are jealous about the 72 dolphins, most fans that aren't dolphin fans are. There's nothing that they can really compare it to because no other team has done what the phins did. Simple as that.
 
Too bad they didn't take a photographer with them to that interview. We could have posted his photo on as many sites as we can for the sole purpose for unmitigated humiliation....

Just tell them that Miami is the ONLY team to go undefeated and win a superbowl. Then ask them who owns all the passing records (another Dolphin Dan Marino). Then ask them what coach has the most victories (another Dolphin Don Shula). Then ask them if they REALLY want to discuss the Miami Dolphins?

I believe the Dolphins are the only professional franchise to never go back to back with losing seasons...including the NBA, NHL, MLB, etc I think we've had 3 or 4 losing seasons in the history of the franchise? I'm just thankful we have W. Huzienga as an owner and not Jerry Jones, enuff said
