8/10 Camp Tweets

Miami running back Knowshon Moreno showed some progress Sunday. After coming off the physically unable to perform list last week, Moreno started with only individual drills. But Moreno did some competitive work in one-on-one passing drills and made several sharp cuts on his knee, which was recently operated on. Moreno also made some nice catches in drills. It is unknown when Moreno will return, but he’s making strides.

Another report from DKPhins post.. Does Omar see what everyone else sees?!!

Well, according to Omar...no.

He thinks he knows better than almost every other analyst in the country, and nothing can convince him otherwise. He acts like everybody is a "ball-watcher" and only he can see the truth in performance.

Anyone notice how he said backup LB's couldnt cover a book? That's why none of our starting 3 get replaced by guys currently on the roster.

I also see a few tweets later that Wheeler gets badly burned on a pass route...so there's that...

Hackmar is the perfect example of what's wrong with newspapers today. He's a "Hits" guy. Say whatever
and get "hits" because "Hits" are eyeballs.

Meanwhile "Outside the lines" is back behind the toilet somewhere.

It's sad to see real journalism going away. We see it with this media in SOFLA....It's not without talent, but
the talent gets up and leaves. How many have been picked up for the big networks while this worthless
POS still remains. I think that tells you everything you need to know about Hackmar.

Not defending Omar, but being an NFL reporter for a big-time newspaper is a big deal and it's a great job. There's a difference between networks and newspapers. Newspaper reporting is waaaaaay different than TV reporting.

I have a journalism degree and covered a major college football program while in school, yet my first job out of school was covering high school sports for a community newspaper. It takes a lot of work and sacrifice to be able to be an NFL reporter.

I liked Patterson too, but he got toasted in the first Jets preseason game.

Heck, it doesn't take a genius to realize that the reports are not conflicting at all...Moreno, making sharp cuts and catching passes, has nothing to do with how fast or slow he's moving. How fast do you guys really think he's moving in essentially his first participation in training camp?

smart move to promote jimmy wilson to starting safety and jamar taylor to the nickle corner...i just want to know if come preseason games 2 and 3 if he's playing inside or the boundary with the 1's...i'm thinking they'd probably put taylor inside

ha sure enough i talk about davis being susceptible to double moves cause of his attacking things in my scoops and he promptly goes out the next day in practice and gives up one

I've said it before...Davis is a "guesser"...that makes him look good in some cases, but it also makes him really susceptible to the big play...I don't trust him.

By the way...what has Taylor done to deserve nickle corner? He was invisible except for a penalty the other night.
