8/11 Camp tweets

Sounds like today's practice was really physical, which is good to read. We need more practices like these and more practices where the 1's go against the 1's.

Also, sounds like Moreno did well today...not all the way back yet but getting closer.

One thing I've notice since camp started is almost no mention of Albert getting beat. I remember when Jake Long was here you would hear his name on occasion getting beat and he was solid until his last season here...not a peep from Albert. Looks like smart money right now. O-line coming along in pass pro...still work to do in run blocking though but clearly better than last season.

Hits Demaryous Thomas in stride beats Steelers in playoffs proves you wrong?

One pass...no that doesn't prove me wrong. He was well under 50% in that game lol.

of the qbs the teams auditioning the only one that would interest me would be skelton...but i don't think he's much of a fit for this offense...the other options are just garbage

i have a feeling i'm gonna be watching damian williams get run at wr in the regular season over guys like landry and mathews...and be underwhelmed

tannehill tearing it up today evidently...nice...

I think they know what they have in Hartline, Gibson, Wallace, Mathews and Landry and are auditioning the other receivers to see if it pays to keep them over Thigpen as the #6 WR. It's going to be tough for them to steal his spot.

I also think they are just trying to make sure that Hartline and Gibson, with their knees, and Wallace with his hamstring, don't push themselves to hard and tweak their injuries before the season.

Add in the fact that the real offensive game planning doesn't start until after fans and media aren't allowed into TC, which is also after the first big cut down and I don't have any worries.

He was 10 of 21 for 326 yards 2 TDs with 10 rushes for 50yds 1 td against the leagues best defense. That's not well under 50% he also had no ints. Such hate!

maybe...but binns didnt get any preseason game 1 run til much later...im gonna have to go back and watch damian williams run routes against the falcons...see if there's anything redeeming there

:sidelol: Just saw something in my news feed that said that the Dolphins were running a 'hybrid' defense that consisted of the #1 DL, #2 LBs, and #1 DBs.

Yup, they know.

Yep, sounds like Tripp and Jenkins are getting more looks for sure. Sounds like Tripp is showing great instincts.

Forget all his obnoxious sycophants and holy rollers who'll be campaigning for him to start, when even Jacksonville knows better than to touch him, Teblow is just a bad idea!

Tebow sucks and he can't play QB in the NFL and there are 32 teams that agree with me.

Stop hijacking the thread.

This would be a kind of poetic justice if Brady Quinn finally comes to Miami, after so many stops along the way. For all the Brady Quinn Notre Dame fans who booed Cam Cameron for selecting Teddy Ginn, your dreams of Brady in a Dolphin jersey may come true. Make it happen, Dennis.
Hey, if we are that desperate for a third string QB as a camp arm to share the workload, is Tebow a consideration (Brady was his backup in Denver)?

That yr, I wanted Okobe (DT) selected by Houston @ #10. Lets us not bring up St Timothy unless Pouncey really really needs a babysitter.

Agreed & Skelton is younger.

Hallelujah & Amen!

And he hasn't played an NFL game in two years. because he sucks.

So if Tannehill puts up those numbers in Wildcard game he sucks? I am not hijacking thread it is well know several teams were interested in Tebow he did not like the fit.

Smart to add 1 of those vets for the final 3 pre-season games. I don't think any make the roster, but they will give the 3rd and 4th stringers more of a chance to showcase their talents then Lobato would.

I'd rank them..
1) Skelton
2) Rex
3) Quinn

Why would anyone on their right mind want tebow

skelton has a big arm like tannehill and would allow to us to get more vertical reps with the depth wrs to see how they look etc...yeah he will be a statue in the pocket but so is lobato for the most part...skelton would give our guys good practice reps catching bullets etc

easy choice to me...

Im pretty sure the teams who wanted him wanted him at TE or FB. He didn't like the fit cuz he wanted to play QB which nobody wanted him for
