Devlin cannot take a 53 man spot this year.
 
He's doing well overall.....but the batted ball thing is coming back to haunt us. And that was against the #2 defense. Not much time with #1's against #1's here.

Concerned about Clay and his ice pack. We don't need anymore injuries.

Landry with a rare drop, not a hand issue just mistimed the jump. Maybe he's pushing himself too much trying to break into the starting lineup.
 
Looks like offense vs defense over.

Just my take.

No QB center exchange problems, Sims had a good day, RT had a good day some good throws no ints. Did not see a long ball though.
OL had some good movement early. I really don't see Devlin taking the number 2 spot today he had a chance with Moore out and thought he made some bad decisions.
 
Common theme from today's scrimmage seems to be "Hickey's Guys." VERY good to see.

No he does not Hayden. More O vs D. Heavy pressure from D line. Looks like working on the blitz. Sims another nice catch before that swing pass to Miller under heavy pressure for nice gain. Miller is going to get some chances in space to make plays lets hope he can block better.
 
Tripp is the strip master! Been doing that all of camp. Apparently in college he was good at it too
 
Clay still on the sidelines and the wrap is reportedly gone now. Though it sounds like Hartline now has a wrap on his leg.

Backups spotty overall. Playcalling excellent. Be excited about that. Offense looks varied & versatile.

We will not know much I am sure until next week.
 
oh and judging by the playcalling, sounds like Lazor is going back to a favorite of his from UVA in the jet screen/swing pass. Which I think helps guys like Miller a lot.

DD Williams (the OU RB) looking good can only help him.

Sounds like McCain and Tripp are showing okay as LBs.

Labato was also just promoted up to 2nd team offense for now.
