8/2 - Scrimmage Tweets

Clay still on the sidelines and the wrap is reportedly gone now. Though it sounds like Hartline now has a wrap on his leg.

Cant find him but Miller just got wrapped.

Nice run by Williams.

Scrimmage is over over 10,000 in attendance per announcer

oh and judging by the playcalling, sounds like Lazor is going back to a favorite of his from UVA in the jet screen/swing pass. Which I think helps guys like Miller a lot.

DD Williams (the OU RB) looking good can only help him.

Sounds like McCain and Tripp are showing okay as LBs.

Labato was also just promoted up to 2nd team offense for now.
That's great for miller and wallace. The guys with speed

I know some guys are iced up anyways. Since Dustin Keller last year, I am shellshocked in terms of preseason injuries.

I guess, however, Clay showed that the next man up has to come through which Clay did and then some. Still, losing good players teams just cannot stand.

Nicks and bruises are going to happen, especially with how soft camps are now.

And I wouldn't get shellshocked after Keller's injury. That was more a stupid play by a defender. Sounds like Clay is fine.

Tannehill's unofficial final stats from today's #Dolphins scrimmage: 15-27, 139 yards, 2TDs, 0 INTs

Well so much for that...I'm satisfied would love to see some video but no hartline no Wallace clay only for 2 plays first team oline better than I expected good day for the qb for what run he did get...

I can't wait to see this offense Saturday on nfl network...sounds like maybe we have some intuitive play calling and design...doubt clays injury is serious...

How much of the offense do you think they are going to show in the preseason? I think we will see a lot of bubble screens, but I can't imagine them going too deep into the playbook.

No doubt about the stupid play. Swearinger is a dirty player.

Knowing what I know about Lazor, I think you'll see more Jet screens than bubble.

Judging by twitter though, the beat writers have said that just going by how plays were called in the scrimmages, Lazor's red zone philosophy is "head and shoulders" about Sherman's

Not much but I think we will see a lot of shifting and late motion etc...if dion sims is making plays in the red zone kinda tells me the play design is very good cause he's a scheme driven production player anyways...not a real playmaker

I have seen a few cuts though of camp and them rushing out of the huddle with a tight end and slot wr tight to the formation and then shifting both out before they come set to avoid a illegal motion penalty and snapping the ball quick...I have no doubts we will have some defenders heads spinning on assignments...I'd expect more rac opportunities and wide open players cause the d will blow assignments against our tempo and the late motion etc and it should also give away some coverage things to the qb more declaring on their end...provided we can protect the qb

More than anything I want to see the tempo and I want to see the movement...i can figure out the rest I think

I just got charged $19.99 from my credit card without even knowing it for NFL Preseason. They better make it worth it.

Still not sold on the LBs or DBs outside of Misi and Grimes.

Misi will be fine at MLB. I'm worried about the Delmas/Jones combo. 2 super aggressive players that make bonehead mistakes and together can either completely take over games or lose us games. Wheeler will be awful unless he's relegated to blitzing and covering short zones. Ellerbe will be just average this year.
