8 Late-Round Sleepers Who Would Be Perfect for Miami Dolphins

i think marpets headed towards playing center in the pros...i liked what i saw...think he's worked his way into round 3-4...interior versatility

John Miller OG should go somewhere in the top of the 4th
Jamil Douglas OG should go somewhere in the 5th round.
Gabe Wright DT should be in the 4th somewhere.
Joey Mbu DT should be somewhere in the 4th or 5th round.
Lorenzo Doss CB should be early 4th.
Charles Gaines CB is looking like an early 4th rounder but I think he'll rise.
Ladarius Gunter CB is a 5th rounder right now.
Nick Marshall CB is looking like a 5th or 6th rounder put he's a project.
Cam Thomas CB is a late round prospect...6th round.
Rannell Hall WR is a 5th or 6th round prospect.
Dezmin Lewis is a 6th or 7th round prospect.
Taiwan Jones ILB is a 5th or 6th rounder...he could also rise because of the weak class though.

AJ Derby TE Arkansas is probably my biggest sleeper so far. I won't start digging for sleepers until after the combine though. I'm trying to get everything finalized for the top 100-150 or so players before then.

Titus Davis could be a legit option for us, he's got YAC skills which fit our offense..

Haven't done a whole lot of digging yet, but one guy that could be worth a 6th/7th/UDFA flyer would be WR Issac Blakeney from Duke. This guy is 6'6", 225lbs and he's got great speed. Really unrefined as far as running routes and letting balls get into his body.. But there's potential there. I know TedSlimm didn't give him a draftable grade but he could be worth a look.. I also like his teammate Crowder, but that 5'8" frame makes me.. queasy.

Blakeney reminds me of L'Damian Washington who was on the practice squad. Played for Missouri a couple of years ago.

That's a pretty good comparison.. Same issue with hands, and though Blakeney is bigger he doesn't always play with his size. He should be a dominant red zone option, but..

G- Ali Marpet of Hobart is known... but yes a good solid sleeper... can play guard and center

G- Max Garcia of Florida... i want to see more on, but I like what I saw in the senior bowl week. He locks on and drives very well, solid technique!!!

G- Laken Tomlinson of Duke... prob not a sleeper anymore also, but what great technique pass blocking and a solid mean streak to the second level... he has impressed me in film.

WR- Dezmin Lewis of UCA... I dont know anything about the UCA Bears... but I not sure if its the QBs inability or just he can destroy thee smaller teams... but Lewis basically thrived all season on quick hits, short routes, and drags... I am not sure how well he can stretch the field, and he definitely is raw in the route running. He really shows that he hands very nice soft hands though!!! From the senior bowl it has been written that he has natural ability that can be developed, and he showed improvement and a good work ethic to do so.

WR- Justin Hardy from ECU... not sure where he is slated to be drafted at, but a WR that could work well out of the slot... great footwork and route running, solid hands but needs to keep focus, great YAC ability.
WR- Jamison Crowder, Tyler Lockett, Phillip Dorsett... all guys known basically that could be 4-5-6 round picks (maybe 3)... could be great out of the slot too

ILB- Taiwan Jones of Michigan State... if you want leadership and hard working, here ya go. Very instinctual player, solid tackler, and has vast range and speed. He fills at the line very quick, and he takes great angles to the ball. He isnt bad at all taking on and getting off blocks either.

ILB- Paul Dawson of TCU... not sure where he is stated to be drafted, but he is lightning fast, reads plays well and makes plays in the backfield. a sure tackler, but is poor at getting off blocks. More of an OLB

DT- Xavier Cooper of Washington St... Great angles, reads plays very well, very smart in his play team defensively, he needs to fire off the line better and use his hands better... but basically i guy that can fill and make plays.

CB- Ladarius Gunter of Miami... i want to see more, but said to have shown a lot of good during Senior bowl week. still doesnt have the greatest of technique

CB- Imoan Claiborne of Northwestern St... lots of ability, lots to learn... he can create plays defensively though.

Max Garcia was very impressive. Most publications didn't even have him as draftable...he was basically going undrafted but he looked solid.

Laken Tomlinson I don't think was under the radar. I played that game someone posted on here and drafted him in the 3rd and 4th round and they were giving me a "D" for taking him that early lol...now he's going mid 3rd round in that game...stupid game.

Dezmin Lewis, Rannell Hall and Vince Mayle were 3 sleepers at WR that I wanted to get a look at in the senior bowl. I think all three showed some potential but Lewis is the most raw of the 3.

Paul Dawson looks to have jumped into the 2nd round, maybe early 3rd of the draft as an OLB.

How about adrian amos from Penn state? Would be a good safety to pair with Reshad.

I'd throw in Jon Feliciano from UM. He's not going to wow anybody athletically, and might not be ideal for our blocking scheme, but I think his floor is about what we got out of Jon Jerry. He's a very hard working kid who could start, and at the least will give you interior depth, and he can play tackle in a pinch. And it's looking like he can be had very late. I like Laken Tomlinson from Duke at guard too, but he's no longer a late round sleeper. Some mocks have him going in the second round.

Another sleeper I am going to add onto the list is intriguing...

Austin Hill WR of Arizona... 6'3'' 210 with decent speed from what I saw (not sure on his time) he seems to haveVERY nice hands and focus, probably needs work on route running and using his hands and frame better... but he is an athlete that seems to be a work horse. An issue was I guess he came off missing his 2013 year with a bad ACL surgery.

I too like Blakeney as well as Waller (Ga Tech) as a UDFA.

WR- Tre McBride of Will and Mary: he has soft feet in his breakdown and has solid footwork, needs to work on routes a little more but runs a solid out, very nice hands, his speed seems decent but not sure how explosive he is. I want to see more on him!!!

WR- Chris Harper of Cal: small guy at 5'11'' 170, but very light on his feet and runs nice routes, has soft hands and a great speed burst, he also moves laterally very well. Some scouts said he is a poor man Desean Jackson, not as fast but same wiry frame.
