I swear some people on here dont watch football and just come on here to give their terrible football opinions. Smith is the same as matt moore but would cost us 3-4 mil a year more. Look at the numbers for last year. Smith had a good coach at develops QBs and knows how to evolve a system around QBs and he still only threw for 3100 yards and 17 TD with 61% completion rating. Moore had 2500 years 16 TDs and 60% completion rating in 3 1/2 games less then smith.... how is smith better?? moore would have passed him statisically had he started from day one. are those numbers worth 7-8 mil a year ??? no.... i would rather stay with moore draft him some Playmakers on offense and get a QB next year. Hopefully barkley or whomever but please dont reach for tannenhill or weeden with the 8th pick. Tannenhill would have been a 3rd rounder a few years back but everyone is putting such high needs on QBs now that they reach for whatever garbage they can find.

It wasnt much better then what he had. Really how many dropped TD did marshall have? Hartline had 1 td the whole season. Smiths best year wasnt better then what moore just did for us with 3 1/2 less games. Hes not worth the $ he wants. I dont think he would help us win more games this season then moore will. thats my point. i dont see what makes him better then moore like u say.
