You know, the chances of Miami making the playoff are not good, but, they are not as bad as it sounds.

Miami Must Win vs:
1. Jets
2. Titans
3. Patriots

Pittsburgh Must Lose vs:
1. Vikings or Lions
2. Browns

Kansas City Must Lose vs:
1. Charger
2. Bengals

San Diego Must Lose vs:
1. Colts
2. Broncos

It could be worse. The only non-playoff contenders on this list are the Browns and Lions. And we know the Browns will play hard against Pittsburgh.

Now, we also have to worry about the Broncos and Bengals shutting it down in week 17, but hey, at least there is a chance.

Who thought that would be the case four weeks ago? Certainly not me.

Forget the playoffs, its great to hope but too damn improbable. Although my fantasy team won its last five games as the division leader lost five and I won the division based on division record.

Pittsburgh won't lose 2 out of those 3 games.

All I'll say is that You never know, its like that bufallo game?

Again youre wrong in one thing. KC can still beat SD as long as they lose to CIN and SD loses to IND and beats DEN. That would make both 9-7 and a 3or more team wild card tie break must first eliminate teams in the same division. SO They would both be 1-1 heads up then 4-2 in division. Step 3 in a division team tie is not conference record. It is win-loss record vs common opponents. SD would eliminate KC that way. So KC would have a better conference record than Mia,pitt and SD BUT, but not get in. We then win the 3 team tie between Pitt and SD then.

Its never good to rely on other teams to make it to the playoffs, that being said a slim chance is still a chance if we handle our business atleast there is a chance.

All of this is a moot point if we lose to the Patriots.

It's all moot if we lose to anyone.

Nobody thought we would beat the Patriots last year either....we did. :)

It's funny becuase as outlandish and slim as the chances are, all of those games could go either way and we need an upset of Pittsburgh. Cleveland has been playing well the last couple of weeks, took Jacksonville and Cincy down to the wire, they're on the verge of an upset.

One game at a time. Today we Need Miami, Indy and Minny, all very feasable. If we are alive at 5:00PM today i'll be happy. I will have 3 TV's going, Sunday Ticket, so I can watch all 3 games.

Actually if KC loses to SD, we don't need them to lose to Cincy. Just a tidbit. He need SD to lose today, win next week and lose to Denver in week 17. Denver and Cincy shold still be playing for home field and a bye, I hope.

Thanks for summing that up Ghetti. I was a little confused, now I got it. Anyways, it's a longshot, but we have a small chance.

The Patriots will definetly be resting starters for this one. They play the wild card game so they will want to be well rested, especially after all of the injuries they have suffered. If we are still alive for that game, we should have a chance to win it.

I'd honestly rather have some shot of a chance, then nothing at all. All I want right now is to live another week to fight...

I know our playoff hopes are paper thin, BUT IF we were to make it, I would like our chances to go deeper into them. It would mean we were on a 6 game winning streak! Good momentum going into playoffs.
