Depends on where you live and what packages your cable provider is offerering. I have comcast, but basic cable doesn't include the NFL network I had to order the sports package...it's more, but If you love sports like I do the money isn't even in question.

With my cable company you need to upgrade to a digital basic package. You can't get it with analog cable.
You also get it when you have NFL Sunday Ticket on Directv satellite.
