Yeah but the way Armando tweeted it he made it sound like it was up to Philbin, which it's really not. I'm sure Philbin and Benton would prefer to have Pouncey play if the doctors give the OK.

Mike Pouncey felt like he could play two weeks ago. He didn't then and he's not playing Sunday versus Kansas City.

Billy Turner needs to be healthy. I don't want to lose games because we are forced to start Dallas Thomas.

Our pass blocking improved significantly after Shelley went down vs the Bills. Shelley was beaten like a drum in pass pro Sunday. Thomas played very well. I hope Shelley takes his time coming back and Turner can become the player we all hoped. But I feel better with Thomas than I do Shelley. Thomas has had one bad preseason game that nobody can forget, but Shelley has been a nightmare in pass pro since he has been in the league. It's true Shelley is better run blocking but Thomas got out to the 2nd level a few times in the game Sunday. Shelley is not starting material.

Dallas Thomas is gonna get plenty of chances to make you yell at your television sets, guys. Don't get too hyped up for Billy Turner.

I certainly know Shelley did. He might as well not have been out there on pass plays Sunday, he didn't even slow anyone down. Shelley is straight up garbage.
