Jay Ajayi is proving to be a liability for this team. He would easily be demoted to 3rd string if I were the coach. If he has 1 more fumble that cost us a game his ass will be out of a job so fast.
 
I hope Jenkins got his arse chewed by the position coach or DC. They should have at least threatened to bench him or give snaps to Butler or Hewitt in practice. Not sure if Paysinger is healthy.

I wonder if Jenkins is healthy though? he may have rushed himself back..

Running back Isaiah Pead, who averaged 6.6 yards in preseason, is still waiting for his chance. He was a healthy scratch against New England and has been inactive each of the first two weeks.

He said he’s fully healthy after a hamstring injury late in preseason.

“Of course not playing is frustrating,” Pead said.

He said he wouldn’t urge coaches to play him because “that’s not me to say something. Actions speak louder. I feel I can make a play and give a spark.”

the bright side of pouncey being out is the longer that he is out the more games dallas Thomas is inactive
 
I am VERY curious to see Pead get some carries. His skill set compliments a struggling line more than anyone else's IMO. I wouldn't even run Ajayi unless we are up by a good margin in the second half. Drake and Ajayi just to see how they do.

Pead AND Williams were inactive last week. I saw Drake on a great block on a bltizing LB up the gut.
 
not me...I'd start ajayi but he's probably in the dog house because of the fumble

I'd probably consider sitting Jenkins though...be nice to get a w and not need him to give him some extra rest before Thursdays tilt although that means misi in the nickel and teams are sure to try and exploit it

This would seem to be the spot to sit Jenkins and try to make sure he is healthy.. If Pead doesn't get any snaps this week I mean why bother to keep him on the roster..
 
DVP gonna be flexed in my fantasy team this week....either him or mike wallace...oh lordy
 
I think Williams gets on the field more than Ajayi. I dunno if he will out carry him, but he will probably see more snaps.

depends on what gase thinks of ajayi...if he's in the dog house then I can see pead if not I cannot...cause they still have Williams and drake...drake looked solid as a 3rd down back type on both his off tackle runs but I'm not buying into that at this time and I saw him run one route out the backfield as basic as every other rb in terms of the route usage which is kind of what I expected

I think what you are gonna see is more drake...we'll see if he can go north south and not east west off of anything other than draws and delays
