Dolphins LB Koa Misi still off to side while players are warming up for first practice of the week.

Randy Starks not practicing in part of practice open to the media.

Dolphins DT Randy Starks walked out of the bubble when the media arrived. Might explain why rookie DT Deandre Coleman was signed today

Shelley Smith is not working again today. He has a brace on his left knee.

C Mike Pouncey is practicing during the portion open to the media. Could this be the game he debuts? He certainly could help.

Mike Wallace is in attendance, but he clearly isn't participating because of his hamstring issue.

During the portion of practice the media attended rookie LBer Chris McCain was not in attendance.

Terrence Fede is practicing today

Jordan Tripp (chest) is practicing again. He practiced last week but was ruled out Friday. Team could use him at least for ST depth.

Tannehill, Moore, Lobato in that order getting snaps during throwing drill

Ryan Tannehill is still taking 1st team reps, and you can see he's putting a special emphasis on his footwork.

Marcus Thigpen, who is wearing No. 19 now, is again working as a receiver. He's listed as a receiver/back.

Randy Starks hasn't been at practice since leaving during warmups

RT is starting there is no upside to starting Moore

Now Lazor needs to get out of the way of himself, he is acting like a kid in a candy store the very first time - If the run game is ON -> run the ball and PA Pass off the run

This throw the ball around idea is crazy we don't even have a healthy Clay -> someone tell Lazor this isn't Philly

This is disturbing. What has he worked on for 3 years? Giving enthusiastic interviews?

He wasn't being coached properly on his footwork his first two years. And yes, it is disturbing. When I saw that Lazor came in and immediately said he needed to fix Tannehill's footwork I said a curse word.

This is why nepotism hires don't work in a multibillion dollar, production-oriented business with exacting standards.

You're right, I forgot Lazor said that. But brother, it sure looks like he needs a lotmmore than footwork help.

I am running the ball 2/3 times a series but expecting they will jam the box and then throw some PA on first down

Sure, but footwork is a critical component in consistent, accurate throws. Some people believe that you either have accuracy or you don't, but everything I know about football is just the opposite. Tom Brady used to routinely work with that one QB coach, I forget the man's name, to clean up his footwork and mechanics in the off-season. He did it to improve and maintain his throwing accuracy.

But again, the question is whether or not this is too little too late, and if Tannehill can put it together in time. Tick tock.

It doesn't matter what number thigpen wears, he sucks anyway.

Yeah and Zach Taylor is still here. Why? Just can that douche already. Lazor is the QB coach.
