Worst case Cincinnati is going to go 9-7, which means we now have to win out to even have the slimmest hope at the playoffs. With the way they played against Baltimore, they are now looking like a team that can beat anyone and 10-6 isn't all that unlikely.

Our playoffs hopes are non-existent at this point. What a shame and what terrible 7 game coaching to start the season. 1 or 2 more wins and we aren't lamenting what could have been.

If Cincy and Miami finish the season at 10-6, Cincy will have the better AFC Conference tie-breaker over Miami. Miami's playoff hopes dropped a notch tonight.

needed 10-6 regardless to even have a shot at it. nothing has changed.

Enough with these threads please  It's all about the Dolphin's if they beat the Jags and the Pats then we start sweating the other teams. Until that happens the only crucial thing is the Dolphins gaining consistency to take into next season so we don't have to count on every other team in the NFL to lose just so we can make the playoffs.

Yeah, Cincy winning doesn't help. Used to be we started off great and faded, and now it's the opposite. Saban has got to figure out these crappy starts.

Exactly, good post.

The Bengals will NOT finish 10-6. Their schedule is brutal so I don't see it happening. A loss tonight would have helped our cause, sure. Our biggest threat is the JETS. Hopefully they stumble now like we did to start.

We can do it. Cincy will probably go 2-2 in their last 4, which will leave them at 9-7. Who else is there? Jets, KC, Denver, and Jax. Jax won't be much of a threat. NYJ will probably go 9-7. If Denver, KC, and us go 10-6, us and KC get in.

too bad the AFC is so good, in the NFC I will bet that at least one 8-8 team will make the playoffs

How we getting in over Denver if all 3 finish 10-6? They're already 7-3 vs. the AFC.
conference record is the #2 tie breaker, KC eliminates Denver by having a better divisonal record. than KC is out because we beat them head to head
