9-7!! Wow did Wanny suck!

What an incredible display of coaching to get this team to 9-7 after last year's debacle. The offense is so much better then it has been in years. Saban has made an incredible difference in his first year as HC. He has changed the mentality of this franchise, and has restored pride to the Dolphins.

Early on, there were people doubting the coaching and Linehan. I think they have been shouted down by the exceptional play of the fins last 6 games. This team has an identity and will make the playoffs next year. FAs will want to play for Saban, whereas Wanny drove them off with his horrible offense and worthless drafting.

If anyone has ever doubted the impact of coaching in the NFL, now you have seen firsthand what a real coach can do.

Not only that... but by stincking to his beliefs... saying what he wanted... even getting flamed for some of it.... But Saban showed character when everyone in the media was questioning his. And from that media blunder... the team understood. Even by the way they spoke.... you coud tell they got it. And boy.. did they get it!
Bravo on of the best seasons I can remember. And only 1 game out of the playoffs.

Next year when Saban gets rid of the rest of Wanny's vile smell, the Phins will rise again.

I agree. Wanny is the worst coach i've ever seen and i am so happy that he is no where near this organization. I can't wait until next year to see what type of FA are going to come in and make this team even better than it already is.

Wanny was always happy with being mediocre whle Nick isn't satisfied with anything but being a WINNER. Great year Nick...looking forward to 2006.

I'm still unsure. There were more than a few games when I was expecting the Fins to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory in the last few seconds. I need to see a few blow-outs before I get too comfortable ....

I cant imagine anyone not being happy with Saban. Although, I'm sure there are still a few "Bates-supporters" who insist Bates would have done just as good a job. I, for one, did not buy into all the Bates hype.

The difference is, as GM and Head Coach, Wanny never made this team any better, but rather, made it worse. Ricky Williams all but said that DW and his over use of him was the reason he walked away. He marrying himself to a sub-par QB in Fiedler and the record going from 11-5 to 10-6, to 97 is the WRONG WAY.. Nick have a big turnover of this team through Free Agency and the Draft as GM/Head Coach, talked Ricky into coming back, and turned this team around from 4-12 to 9-7.. that's where the praise and criticism comes from. Nick has outcoached, out GM'd, and out managed this team 10x better than DW..
