90% negativity from all the posters

I don't post very often but Jesus Christ we lose everyone moans we win everyone moans why can't people enjoy the wins??????? I know we are not a Super Bowl team but come on we are in the playoff mix that is a fact all you haters get over it we are at.500 and currently around the last wild card spot all the negativity won't change that ! I understand we have more holes to fill than a Callander but all this hating all time is un called for?

90% of all the threads and posts are people knocking this player or this coach or this play call people need to loosen up I'm not delireous I'm not expecting a deep playoff run I'm hoping for a playoff wildcard challenge I think if we had another perfect season people on here would still be negative I'm not wearing rose tinted glasses I'm just saying our win puts us in the hunt with everything that has happened to us this season this is a positive so let's enjoys the wins guys!!!

Cmon 5-5 is mediocre. Weve gotten little production from 2013 draft, the oline has issues, our good rush d has dissappeared this year, Mike Wallace has been a very expensive Ted Ginn for us, LB core is more pricey than last year but dont seem much better.

1 Playoff game in 10 years and this year if we make the playoffs we'll be 8-8 or 9-7 and a huge underdog to win. You dont spend all that money and hope you squeak into the playoffs. You want this team to slowly develop into a championship contender for years to come. Do you see that happening in the forseeable future?

This year feels like every year.

Remember all the threads just like this one last year ...and the year before that ...and the year before that ...and ....well, you know. And that's why people are impatient. The show has gotten stale. Some of the actors change from year to year but the writers end every season the same way.

Nobody here wants it that way, despite what the OP and some others perceive as joy in reaction to failure. It's no vice to demonstrate frustration in reaction to the kind of ineptitude this fan base has been subject to for about two decades now. I've been rooting for this team for 45 years. During that time I watched this team experience a meteoric rise to greatness and a slow descent into mediocrity followed by far too many years of irrelevance and to be very frank and honest I don't see us rising up from that irrelevance any time soon. I don't begrudge anyone here their right to get excited by a win or even to lose themselves in fantasies about the playoffs. Go dance naked in the streets if you want. But enough with the "who's a real fan" nonsense. We all want the same end; it's just that some of us want to talk about how to get there rather than lipsticking the pig.

Yes, every season has ended the same way pretty much... But what does that mean when this season is not going the same? When is the last time we could get excited over the playoffs besides the Pennington year? The last time I remember thinking playoffs was when Fiedler and Ricky Williams were Dolphins. I get the frustration. But how about wait to see how the season plays out? Is replacing our GM NOW going to help? Is replacing our head coach NOW going to help? Some people are calling Tannehill a bust for crying out loud... It's insane. Sure y'all are passionate fans, but that's just so damn insane.

If any change comes, it's going to come during the offseason. It's not the offseason yet. And hey, wouldn't you know? 11 weeks into the season we're tied for the head of the race for the Wild Card.

Come talk to me again this offseason after another subpar record. I am a realist.

A realist that can't change **** about the next 6 games. Just give up and quit, since and than comeback in whatever year were good. That's a sign of good fan, the ability to be able to determine when your team is good, and at that moment you can cheer them on..

News flash, people have been quitting on the fins, probably since our last Superbowl appearance, in 1984, so congratulations on joining that club.. CLAP CLAP..

Well said.

Thats B.S! you want the same thing but then you say "oh well we wont make the playoffs so don't even think about it" (paraphrasing obviously) either you are a troll or you dont even know what you want.

So what do you actually accomplish by saying that we still suck after a win? I don't really see what your gameplan is, i mean what exactly are you here to do?

This is a fan forum. In so far as having an influence on how the team plays, no one hear accomplishes anything. As far as the team goes, those who think we're playoff bound accomplish nothing by saying so; those who think we're stuck in the mud somewhere in the swamps of Florida accomplish nothing by saying so either. All any of us are doing is exchanging our thoughts. Did you join this board to actually accomplish some goal?

This team ain't real good and I don't have any expectations going forward, but anyone who isn't happy about a win today is just weird.

Let's face it, we're winning between 6 and 9 games depending on how this thing plays out. I don't know about you, but I'll take 9 wins and a shot at Indy or Cinci in the wild card game over 7-9.

For the record, dont know many who are not happy winning today.... but definitely will defend those who are unhappy with our situation overall.

I'm very unhappy with the overall situation of the team, but give me the wins. We're not bad enough to get a top 5 or even top 10 draft pick, honestly. I'd rather have 9 wins and pick #18 than 7 wins and pick #14.

This isn't a Suck for Luck situation.

I'm an idiot, I guess.

no you're totally right, one win means all the problems go away. Right?

I suggest that you just hop on the bandwagon in 2 more years because I don't see us being contenders until then. But this year is progress. You can't get excited over it? Then why are you here? How about this... If you see a thread where posters are being positive, stay away and stick to the threads where fans are bitching. There's plenty of em.

I have a right to bring reality to bad posts. No just kidding there's no bad posts about winning. Despite how I sound to you I want to win. But really, progress? Dude the last four years we have been under 500 and currently we are 5-5. If we finish better than 8-8 this year I will be surprised and pleasantly at that. I love my Dolphins enough to be tired of mediocrity. Progress ... you can't be serious.

There are a lot of teams over 500 right now. The best teams, are. New England, for example, is 7-2. Remember all that talk about unseating them? And their team was decimated, and they're still 7-2.

As far as the names on that list, I don't want to be anywhere near it. The Giants are playing horribly, Atlanta is struggling and their fans are frustrated, Dallas sucks of course, and Baltimore's team was dismantled after they won the superbowl. (So they have an excuse). But that's the point - to go there, and hopefully to win it. It's not about just winning a few games each season and losing in the first round of the playoffs, or never getting to the playoffs to begin with.

There is simply no excuse for the bad drafts and player mismanagement of this team year after year. So yes, fans are frustrated. Personally, myself, I didn't anticipate us to struggle as much as we have this season. I expected a little more progress. And I'm not concerned about the w/l this year, I just wanted to see us play well. I think a lot of fans want to see that, it's not just about the record, per se.

Yea I know there are a lot of teams over .500. I mentioned a few of them. My point was, there's a handful of dominant teams who I pointed out in another post. The other 27 or so teams? Have 6 wins or less... Everybody complaining of inconsistency needs to see that hardly anyone is being consistent this year.

And I'll give you Baltimore, but that is a list of teams that I am a little surprised to see in our tier this year. My point is, it's tough to win in the NFL. All this talk about winning inconsistently... hey... at least we're winning.

Is replacing our GM NOW going to help?

Actually, right now would be the best time to replace our GM. There is very little our GM can do right now to affect the remainder of this season. The draft and free agency come relatively quickly after the end of the season. A new GM will need time to hire his staff and prepare for the draft and free agency. If you are going to bring in a new GM, now is exactly the time to do it.
