Call me unreasonable, but all the more reason I expect people to be excited that we're in the playoff hunt 11 weeks into the season. We've made it to the playoffs how many times since Marino retired? Twice? Wake up people, try to enjoy, and stop bitching.

If you are of that line of thought, then please come out hen the Dolphins lose, and do not do so when they win.
 
I think I'm pretty even-handed, but I'll say, that on behalf of the posters who say someone is a bust, or we're a bad team, it's just their opinion, just like you have yours. I really don't see what the problem is. Usually the title of the thread will tip you off to it. No one forces you to read it.

And, actually, we didn't play that well in the beginning of this game and could have easily lost. We had some big plays by Grimes and Clay, and Tanny was smart with the football in the 4th quarter. And, thank god, the Chargers are inept.

I'm beginning to think that the people who rage against threads like these were spoiled by those eras, and are not prepared to weather the bad times of a franchise.

No your a defeatist !!!!

You won't be happy ever I do not think we make it to the playoffs I expect us to fall short May be finish 7-9 ? But I will enjoy the wins regardless and on another day with a bit more luck this team could of been sitting on 7-3 right now. I'm not 100% happy far from it but I'm not going to let the overall state of this franchise hamper my enjoyment when we win.

I dont hope they lose on the contrary. But I dont have any faith in this GM or Coaches to win constantly in this league.

Well considering we weren't legit contenders since Marino's prime... so what? That'd be a good number of us that don't remember that time. But what are you guys complaining about? We're not contending? Ok. But how exactly do you build contenders? I mean we we've been rebuilding for 2 decades pretty much. And the one of the few years we're showing progress, you complain that we're not a legit contender? Am I understanding right. Does everything look great about our franchise? No. But you see the improvement... I don't get why people are so against building on what we have and not tearing everything down and starting from scratch... again.
 
We won today and I was screaming and yelling as usual. Nice win today......but I certainly can't fault anyone that's bitching about the team because there is plenty to bitch about
 
I am happy we won folks, but if you are satisfied with this team this GM built and the coaching staff then I question if you really understand what Winning football is about.

Again, I am glad we won.

I feel bad for you. We win and the normal reaction after decades where wins have been rare is to celebrate. But you can't even enjoy wins. But what really sucks is posters like you can't let the rest of us enjoy the win. We friggin won. The Dolphins control their own destiny in the playoff race. I'm amazed at this board sometimes.

It's not about being perfect but being consistent. You can't lose to TB one week and beat a crappy SD the next and expect people to get excited. SD is as bad as we are for Pete's sake. We have sucked for almost 15 years and had a losing season for the last 4 and it will be 5 after this season. One win against a crappy team doesn't do it for me. I want to see us making improvements consistently to win my confidence in this organization back.

Fair enough, my friend. But in as much as the positive thinkers should not dictate to people how to be fans, please don't tell the positive people to not be happy.

I agree I don't either but I'm not going to bitch about them when we win I want change from top to bottom but I do love a miami win epically when times are tough
