If that’s the bar he would be in the HOF. And I doubt he’d care about the ring of honor.Gotta vote no. If the bar is Jason Taylor and Zach Thomas, Wake misses out just barley.

Was he THAT good or was he just the best we had for a period of there being little to no other standout talent on the team? I can go either way on this. The guy was a force.![]()
From Undrafted to Unstoppable: Why Cameron Wake Belongs in the Dolphins' Ring of Honor - Miami Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins should put Cameron Wake in their Ring of Honor. The time is right for Miami to honor their superstar player.dolphinstalk.com
I just want to know who the 8 that voted no are...![]()

I get the comp but dumervil was 22-33 in the league. Cam's numbers came from 27-37 after the CFL, tore his Achilles at 33 and came back to make the pro bowl the following year. Dude was a warrior for the fins and probably one of the fittest guys in the NFL ever at 6'3 265This is a difficult one for me. On one hand he's the only Dolphin worthy of the honor in like the last 15 years (since Zach and JT). On the other hand his numbers and career is comparable to Elvis Dumervil who probably would not be considered Ring of Honor worthy.
Not even a second thought about it.
That’s not the bar. Those guys are Hall of Fame players. That’s not what the ring of fame players represent. Wake definitely belongs in the ring of fame. He is the best pure pass rusher that’s ever played for the Dolphins organization.Gotta vote no. If the bar is Jason Taylor and Zach Thomas, Wake misses out just barley.
Forget about his career numbers. The ring of fame should be based on how he performed for the Dolphins organization and by any measure, he was great while playing in Miami. His career numbers don’t look great because he got such a late start in the NFL.This is a difficult one for me.
