Should he be in the Dolphins Ring of Honor?

It's an easy yes. Those select few that say no need to get off the drugs.

Wow, I disagree. Why wouldn’t the best pure pass rusher that’s ever played for the organization not be worthy of being in the ring of fame? It’s a team honor, not a league wide honor. Wake totally belongs in my opinion.

That’s not what the ring of fame is meant to represent. It’s to honor players that were great playing for that particular organization. Wake definitely meets that criteria. There’s no need for a ring of fame if the only players you are going to honor are Hall of Fame players. That’s what the Hall of Fame is for..

He was that good. There hasn’t ever been one pass rusher that’s played for this organization that I would put ahead of him. There is no one I would choose over him if I had to pick someone who could close out a game with a sack.

You are probably right. I do think he deserves to be there plus his story of coming into the league is special.
 
Cam Wake was better than Jason Taylor, minus that one year Taylor had.

Cam Wake belongs in the pro football HoF due to his time in the CFL and NFL. So yea, he should be in the Dolphins RoH.

That's fair. I just really really value pure pass rushing ability. That's why I loved the Chop selection.
 
One day he should get in. He was the best of a bad era in dolphins history. Still not a huge fan but the stats are probably good enough

Consistent high quality performances on a bang average team, 10yrs, 5 Pro Bowls and came into the league via the backdoor from CFL. What's not to like that stops him getting on that ring. Deserves it.

I'm sort of split on ring of honor (immediately vs later), but I'll never forget that walk off safety that night.

If we had a ring of honor for single plays in dolphins history, that would definitely be on my list.

Most memorable play would be a fun thread (although I'd bet there have been many of those over the years).
