A big thank you to Bill Belichick and the Patriots

I hate the Pats and Belichick as much as any phins fan, but the guy can coach the **** out of players. It's troubling that it didn't work out in NE, but you never know.

well if those guys were actually cut ie ty law and lawyer milloy (i seem to recall the milloy cut as a definite) than thank you for refreshing my memory...

sameul and deion branch left as free agents for greener pastures...

Why does beli get cut slack for some recent terrible pick ups? Albert Haynesworth? i guess winning cures everything.

yeah i have a hard time thinking we pulled a fast one on bill belichick...the guy who cut weight with randy moss at just the right time...

Explain how trading Randy Moss is "cutting weight" but trading Seymore is not???

Drew Bledsoe had a semi successful career after Hoodie shipped him off to Buffalo via trade in 2002. That first year he had one of his best statistically passing the football but fell short to reach the playoffs. Same story in Dallas. Overall I think NE got that one right.

it should be pretty obvious...randy moss had lost a step and was no longer the player he once was when beli traded him...they decided to focus the offense around the te position and gronk...as for seymour he's still been pretty damn good in oakland...not as dominant as he was when he was fully healthy with the pats but still a whole lot left in the tank when they traded him...definitely not trending down like randy moss was

Actually, Pats got a first round pick for Branch.

:crazy:Boy do I have to eat crow on this one. But letting him go was the right move.

kudos to you for bringing it up yourself and taking responsibility lol, seeing how there was probably a 10% chance of this being brought up again

If anyone but the op had bumped this thread I was getting ready to hand out some infractions. since it was the op owning his own mistake, Kudos.
