:rant:The recent injury to Thomas makes me believe that when Shula retired a shroud of doom befell this club. Huizenga hires Jimmy and what does the arrogant a-hole do but tell one of the greatest QBs in the history of the game he can not audible at the LOS. Then Wayne, being pretty much ignorant to the game of football, listens to Jimmy and hires Wannidiot. It was almost as if Plastic Hair wanted to sabotage the team. If his incompetency wasn't bad enough, Wayne gave him carte blanche with the draft picks. When his ineptitude surfaced there we brought in a GM, but the only probably was the Idiot was allowed to chose him. That whole coaching staff, Kippy Brown as OC are you kidding, was a clamity of errors that lasted far too long. After this painfully extended stint with the team, Pornstache is fired.
Then we get Saban. I'm thinking maybe now we can get this team going in the right direction, but boy was I wrong! His scheme for the secondary was so complicated that none of the defensive backs could figure it out. Then the statement, "I don't know how many times I have to say it, I'm not going to be the Alabama HC", was the icing on the cake. Nice to see the Alabama alumni are doling out the cash so he can get the recruits. May he rot in HELL!:in_flames:
Then comes Cam. Initially I'm thinking this is a good move. We have Capers on the defense and Cam on the offense. Cam comes in from SD where they have a pretty prolific offense and I'm thinking we have the defense, now if we can approximate that offense we should have a pretty good team. Boy was I wrong! I, and I'm being serious, could have managed the game better than that clown. Everytime he would put his offensive play sheet in front of his face all I could think about is that guy you would draw in grade school who would be peering over the wall with his big nose hanging down. And as for Capers being this former defensive Guru in Carolina, he must have flushed all that knowledege down the drain along with the '07 defense. I don't care about the injuries, the guy is totally incompetent as a DC.
Now this brings us to the latest injury, Donald Thomas. Just when things are looking up, it happens again, another set back. I know injuries happen to every team, but can we catch a break, just one. It started when Larry Gordon died in '83 from a heartattack while jogging and Arnsprager goes to LSU. This is when the downward spiral started for the D. I think the first DC after Arnie was Studstill and he didn't workout. Then we bring in Olivia-jack-a#$ and the rest as they say is history. Wannstadt and Olivadotti have to be two of the most incompetent coaches I have ever seen. The death of David Overstreet, the injuries to Yatil Green and John Bosa, the drafting of the bum, Eric Kumerow, Jamie Nails spectacular O-Line play only to have him come back so fat the next year he couldn't even make the team, and the decision of Don Shula, which mysifies me to this day, to hang on to Olivadotti while Marino is in the prime years of his career just is becoming unbearable. I have been a Dolfan for 33 years and I would like to see them win a SB before I leave this home we call earth.
