This weekend I predict that Sage will play a decent game. First, I believe that Saban will be in Linehan's ear this week for him to run the ball more. I think it's been very hard for Saban to bear what has been happening this season on the offensive side of the ball. Saban's philosophy is run the ball and stop the run. I really this philosophy coupled with our failure to run the ball the crucial situations when we were inside the five. The playcalling has come under fire for two consecutive weeks, so you better believe that Saban will address that this week. Therefore, our commitment to the run will only help Sage. I think Saban will want to ease Sage into things like a rookie quarterback, so Ricky and Ronnie will be the focal point this wekend. I'd be very surprised if Sage throws more than 25 passes. If Sage plays well, Saban may still go back to Frerrotte when he gets healthy, but he'll be on a very short leash. And knowing Gus, he'll play himself right to the bench.

too bold to be true i guess because Frerrote is the starter...yes if Sage starts this week we WILL run the ball more simply because Linehan wouldnt trust him with the ball.. so if Sage starts, we will run the ball about 45 times

Here's my prediction, Sage does decent vs the BROWNS, Gus will come back because he's Gus Frerotte and we just can't seem to get this man seated nice and cozy on the bench. But Gus will be on a short leash. Gus will get pulled from a game, and Sage will step in. Sage will then find himself getting benched the week after that and Gus right back in. Then after Gus continues to fail and the season is a mess, the team will test Cleo Lemon and then that will be a wrap.
