While everyone, including me, is wrapped up in the madness that is free agency, I thought I would talk about the guys that already are Dolphins for a minute.
We have the peices in place for a very good team and just need a little help this offseason to elevate us to one of the leagues elite teams.
The first thing I'd like to point out, look for Ronnie Brown to have a tremendous year. From what I've herd he is on intense and strenuous workouts and is just going to be a monster next year. As for our other running back, I can't give you any information on where he is on the suspension but if he does play next year, we will have the best backup in the league. This will give us the best backfield in football which is very huge in this league.
Next, look at our recievers. Chris Chambers was a pro bowler last year with Gus Frerotte pitching balls at him. This year he's going to be an all pro. He started off shaky but I expect Chris to be catching balls every day this offseason to make sure he doesn't drop the easy ones any more. The rest of our WR's do exactly what they have to. I love having Marty as a number 2, he does a great job as a change up to Chris. Welker is a solid possesion reciever and makes big catches in big situiations. Randy McMichael is one heck of an athlete a top 10 TE in this league.
You have to be very impressed with the way our offensive line imporved this last season. There is only more improvement to be made in 2006 with that unit.
Our defense was shaky at times but I blame that mostly on our secondary. We will have a solid front seven next year. We have the peices in that aspect. Just look for a couple of additions to go along with a healthty Will Poole, a more experiance Travis Daniels, and hopefully we get back Shulters.
