This franchise from top to bottom is made up of LOSERS. No one knows how to win. We need to bring in peoe who have own and know what it takes to win. look at Denver, they win because they have an executive who is a winner. This franchise is just a bunch of losers

I don't think Denver is the best example to use right now. They just pulled a Miami by blowing a big lead and doing nothing in the second half

said this in other posts, but why doesnt anyone take into consideration that we are missing more than half of our offensive personell at this point? I realize injuries and such are a part of the game, but you people have outragious expectations. We were competative against one of the better Ds in the league. Every game has come down to the final drive with the exception of the Saints game. All that being said, we are a few pieces away from having a good offense!
I bet you celebrate coming in 7th place.
That means nothing if we don't win. We haven't been to the divisional round and won since 1984 and have only won 2 playoff games in the last 14 seasons. WE ARE A BUNCH OF LOSERS AND ARE NOT CLOSE TO ANYTHING. We breed mediocrity and will always be mediocre. We need so much on this team.
We need DB's grimes is gone after this year. We will need DT after this offseason
We need a TE and we need everything but a center on the OL. Please explain how we are close to being relevant.

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Dude. Maybe let's give Ireland another year, maybe in 2014, or 2015 this "Team" can produce a Winning Season, and Win Games at Home against Lesser Talent (Buffalo 2013) Lose Leads 17-3, and 16-3 (New England and Carolina) Lose to 0-8 Garbage Teams (Tampa Bay). Get some new excuses pal.

But yes, i do agree that we have needs on this team. But hitting the reset button every two years isnt going to get you those needs, it's going to push us even further back! And no Im not celebrating 7 wins. But we have been in every single game except one! Tell me how that's not close?! So far you havent.

I'm not your pal, buddy (southpark). And your arguments arent convincing. Denver just blew a 24-0 lead against NE. I guess they suck too.
By this rationale, we have been close for a long time. Being competitive and in games doesn't mean anything if you cannot win them.
We are not close for multiple reasons.
1. Ownership sucks
2. GM sucks, Ireland does not know how to evaluate talent or build a team. There is no reason to spend as much as we did in the offseason. I will admit I was excited but free agency is to add depth and to fill a void, not buy what you feel are marquee players. We have no idea how to draft talent. This is not debatable. 100% fact. We haven't made the playoffs with any of the guys drafted since 2008. The 2007/ 2008 season doesn't count due to the make up of the team being prior to 2008.
3. Overall culture is awful. We have no winners associated with this franchise whatsoever and never have. Very important
4. No leaders to take control of the team during this regime. We let them all walk away.
Denver is only 9-2 and tied for the second best record in the NFL.
