A bunch of losers

By this rationale, we have been close for a long time. Being competitive and in games doesn't mean anything if you cannot win them.
We are not close for multiple reasons.
1. Ownership sucks - I guess being a owner that's willing to spend whatever he can to produce a winner sucks?

2. GM sucks, Ireland does not know how to evaluate talent or build a team. There is no reason to spend as much as we did in the offseason. I will admit I was excited but free agency is to add depth and to fill a void, not buy what you feel are marquee players. We have no idea how to draft talent. This is not debatable. 100% fact. We haven't made the playoffs with any of the guys drafted since 2008. The 2007/ 2008 season doesn't count due to the make up of the team being prior to 2008. Basing drafting skills soley on wether or not we've made the playoffs is silly.

3. Overall culture is awful. We have no winners associated with this franchise whatsoever and never have. Very important I dont know how to respond to this....again do you expect SB contenders right after a full coaching staff change already? If so, youre expectations are ridiculous.

4. No leaders to take control of the team during this regime. We let them all walk away.I didnt like losing Bush, but other than that, this complaint has no merrit.

Please Explain how you' evaluate a GM with drafting. If we don't go to the playoffs on a consistent basis then the guys we draft suck.. That's it period. Finished. The end.
Second the overall culture of this franchise I'm dating back over the last 20 years. Not the current regime. I happen to really like Philbin. Jimmie Johnson is the only person we've had that has won anything in a 20 year span.
Our owner cares more about club liv. He knows nothing about football. He'll donate money to michigan
But won't pay for stadium upgrades.

Denver and New England are both going to the playoffs. The Fins will sitting at home, again.
 
We hosted the AFC title games in '85 and '92 so the claim that we haven't won a divisional round playoff game since '84 is incorrect. That said, Ireland is a loser.
