It's nice for him to get positive press right before his big day... Unfortunately, I've heard a few stories about Marino from people who know him... They don't have quite the happy ending as this one... I'll just leave it at that.

I herd "dan the man" was an a****** to like the people who clean his house cuz his son is autistic and he didnt want them even glancing at his family. :confused:
 
my wife's aunt hates dan cuz they were trying to get autographs and he wouldn't then he peeled out right in front of her 8yr old son and he almost hit him lol...she swears by that story.

i loved dan...but she's the only phin fan i know that hates him...seems so weird a dolphan that hates dan?? :(

but also i have heard many stories just about how mean he would be to fans and sometimes on the field he whined...ionno tho.....
 
yeah its a shame the guy is and always will be a jerk, but he was still my favorite player when he was out there.
