a couple of funny things i notice

two thing that were fun about the way buffalo played that happened on the same drive:

1. 5:25 left in the 4th quarter, 2and8 on the Mia. 12 holcomb tries 2 throw the ball out of bounds but dosent even come close until it bounces
(this play should have been a penalty for either a backwards pass or there wasnt even a reciever in the area)
2. the very next play: 3and23 and buffalo decided to try and run the ball for 23 yards on a team that has allowed only 229 yrds rushing all season and came up with -2 yrds
pretty crappy play calling

I agree with the first, but I believe the 2nd was just being conservative and not wanting to force a mistake or turnover.

I think the second play could have been to get the clock running, and take a chance. It was still a dumb call though.

actually, the first play you mentioned was ruled a fumble because the pass was backwards. the ball was spotted where the pass went out of bounds.

i believe the run on 3rd and 23 was mainly to get into better range for a lindell kick. miami's secondary was playing well and a 23yrd+ gain was highly unlikely.

b-lo does have strange play calling at times but it was enough to win today
