I don't want to offend anyone but the Dolphins need to change their fight song. Its terrible and its a knockoff of the old Houston Oilers song. Trick Daddy would make a great fight song to pump up the crowds at Dolphins Stadium. We should consider him or another Miami grown musical talent (e.g. Rick Ross) to write something motivating.

Another suggestion. Is the Dolphin as a mascot lame? There are Vikings, Titans, Giants, Cowboys, even the Patriots. We're the Miami Aqua Mammals? We should, and its probably sacriligeous for me even suggesting it, change the mascot. Time to man up Miami Football Fans!

Here come the Miami....

Your suggestions for a new look in 2007?

Yea, what we need to do is get a rapper to pin our new fight song. Hell why not Lil John. We can have lets get Crunk as our anthem ugh. I love Rap but
our fight song is fine, we never get to use it but it's fine. As for Dolphins, they are far from the ***** cats of the water and are predators of the ocean.

Great idea......lets alienate all fans over the age of 30 by adopting a rap fight song and completely change the team name that they have embraced their whole lives.

Brilliant!

It's terrible.. to hell with tradition.

It brings my spirits down after we score.

Dolphins are awesome animals, who cares if they arent the most physically imposing? They will outsmart you in a heartbeat. (Ive seen dolphins get pretty vicious btw)

Second I really dont care about the fight song.

I am thinking that Snoop Dog could come up with some pretty slick. And, he could import a bunch of porn-queens to replace the cheerleaders too

EDIT:

Pump Pump, Pump Pump, Pump Pump, Pump Pump
Pump Pump

Let the motion of your body be the key, cuz we
be the motherfreakin Dolphins Funk family
Now, I'll play the QB in this deadly game
Wayne is the name Phin Pound's the game:tantrum:

Sharks are scared of Dolphins.

Rap just plain sucks! Piss on that crap! Rap is for people that can't sing. Rap isn't even music, it's just people talking fast. Rap, again it just plain sucks.

Did you not see the halloween episode of the simpsons where dolphins took over the world? Please, if it happened on the simpsons, it's gospel.

Also, if the team wins a super bowl, then they can change the fight song. But until that day, tradition stays.

I agree on a new fight song with someone like Trick doing it but to change the name and everything is ridiculous. The Miami Dolphins is fine the way it is.

That's a popular misconception. They actually stole it from us, and used it for the famous Monday Night game in 1978.

Personally, I think the song doesn't hold water to something like the Redskins fight song, but it's traditional, as most fight songs are supposed to be. To try to modernize it and make it hip or write a new one would probably turn out terrible, and would go against the tradition of fight songs.

I would rather have something new and spirited that could be played at key times of the game, much like the Patriots do.

I will consider getting another team if the phins change the style of their fight song. The Seahawks come to mind (hint: look below my user name).

I think Miami has more pressing needs than the fight song.
